Disney World Photopass/Memory maker upgrade to annual pass

I currently have a 7 day ticket park hopper and thinking about upgrading the tickets to an annual pass on arrival day, if I buy photo pass before hand will the money from photo pass/ Memory Maker be used in the upgrade to the annual pass or is it better just add it to the pass when purchasing the AP.
