Disney World or Disney Land ?

Disneyworld :cool1: . I live about 10 minutes from Disneyland. Disneyland is good for a 3 night vacation. You can stay at Disneyworld for 10 nights and not have seen everything.
However Disneyland Park is better then Magic Kingdom.

I've been to Disneyland a whole bunch of times. I've been to WDW once. Nothing in my mind makes Disneyland anything close to Disney World. I love Disneyland, I love going, but the people who work there are snotty, rude southern california kids (no offense) who think they're better than everyone else because they work at Disneyland. At least that's all I've come across at Disneyland (except for my Bert/Adam :rotfl: ). Disneyland also just feels like an amusement park (because it is), but WDW feels like you're leaving reality and jumping into a fairy tale land. I didn't meet one rude person who worked at WDW. When we'd be walking through the pathways to get to the main building at GF they'd wave and say hello to us. I stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and I rarely even got noticed. The Indiana Jones ride is my favorite though at any of the Disney parks, and their space mountain is cooler, but other than that, Disney World is way better, to me, than Disneyland.

I'd have to say that Disneyland is my favorite, hands down. Maybe I am biased being a West Coast Disney Fan, but after going to both parks, Disneyland still stands out as being better.

It is the original park where Walt once walked. You can't enter under the railroad crossing without being transformed back in time to when you were a child. It is truly magical. It is the park where I first met my cartoon friends, spent my graduation night from high school, proposed to my wife, and have shared more laughs with my kids than I could ever possibly count. To me, there is no way that it can be topped.

Now don't get me wrong, I've been to FL as well and had a great time there. With so much to see and do, it is definitely a top vacation destination for my family. That being said, WDW as a total package might get more votes here because it has more parks to offer than the resorts in CA do, but if you were to judge purely by comparing DL to the Magic Kingdom, it would be no contest. Disneyland would top the list everyday and twice on Sunday....

Whatchu talkin' 'bout Willis?
I was there this August for 5 days, plus two days for travel. One day was Universal, the other was a rest so we had 3 days at DLR. I didn't even make it half way through DLR and did maybe 3 rides in DCA. DEF. not enough time. No, most of the time wasn't spent waiting in lines as I was on a Make a Wish trip.

For me it's a matter of time. I can't imagine visiting Disney World without visiting each park and that requires at least one day in each park for me. When time is limited to just a couple of days (3 is perfect), then it's Disneyland all the way!
