I am so upset that I don't get the Travel channel. I will just have to find a friend nearby who does and move in to her house for that week. J/K

Thanks for the heads up on these shows. I've marked by calendar and have remote in hand!

Thanks for the heads up! I always love to watch Disney on TV! :D

I would love to see that before we go to Disney, but we'll be at Mickey's Very Merry during it's airing. I know living it is great, but I like to get a feel for it before I go.

Also, my family loves Sam Brown.

We just found out that we're finally getting the Travel Channel added to our cable (Comcast) and we should have it around December 20th...so maybe we'll get to see some of those!! Thanks! :D

Are any of these new? I've seen the one about Wilderness Lodge and the Behind the Scenes, and the Christmas Special from last year - I thought I've seen them/and recorded them all. Maybe I haven't! I'd love to see some new stuff. I emailed the Travel Channel about Disneyland, you'd think they show a little more about the park that Walt built more. I'd like to think my emails works because a few weeks later they showed a program about Disneyland Behind the Scenes.

I'll have to make a note of this. The first one comes on when we're there! LOL But it'll be fun to "relive" the magic by watching the others! :) Thanks for the info!

The most recent ones are the WDW Holidays (debuted about a year ago), America's Thrillmakers (last spring) and over the summer they premiered a show Fan's Guide to WDW.

I emailed the Travel Channel about Disneyland, you'd think they show a little more about the park that Walt built more. I'd like to think my emails works because a few weeks later they showed a program about Disneyland Behind the Scenes.

There is a program called (I believe) Ultimate Disneyland that highlights the attractions at DL and DCA. I've seen it on the Discovery HD Theater network and the images are absolutely stunning. I'm sure the same program is available at times on the Travel Channel in standard def.

They have an episode of Great Hotels that highlights the Grand Californian.

You'll also find info on DL in some of the broader Disney programs on TTC. Disney's Imagineers looks at the design process applied to attractions at both parks.

I think DL has fairly good representation on TTC, they just don't have the 20+ resorts, 4 theme parks and 2 water parks that WDW has available to highlight. Maybe they'll consider filming a new program now that DL is getting a much needed resort-wide refurb.

Cool thanks! We watch the same shows every year. It will be nice to see a new one.

Can it be true? Or is it only in Maryland, not lowly NJ :guilty:

I have been writing to them forever now, asking if we are getting it, and they just send back the usual form e-mail.

I hope it's true - it is the only thing I miss from the Dish Network!!!!

Hey WeLoveDisney, Did you notice the date on this thread? It was written last year in November. Just thought I'd clue you in because I was excited to see this thread also, and then saw the date. I saw this episode last year. As a matter of fact, it was because of that show that I convinced my husband to take our whole family to WDW this Christmas. :cool1: Absolutely cannot wait!!!! We're from California and have been to DL many times for Christmas. It is magical...snow and all!!! Looking forward to seeing WDW and their decorations.

Durn. How did that get dug up? Still, I'll bet that there'll be some Disney shows as we approach the holidays.
