Disney World - March

We are planning on going to Disney World in March 2009. When would be the best time of the month to go. This will be our first trip with 4yr old son.

I asked the same question yesterday in another category. I received a few replies that the 3rd/4th week is popular for Spring Breaks for schools in certain areas of the country so could be pretty busy.

We are also going in March 2009 - We are going March 15th - 20th. Hopefully when we go it won't be horribly packed.

Unfortunately March is not the best time crowd and price wise. You will find the room rates to be higher since it is considered Spring Break season.

One thing to look at is when Easter falls next year. This year it was the earliest it has been in years so that made the end of March a bad time. I think if you plan for as early in March as you can you will be okay. I would shoot for the very first week if you can. You will pay the higher room rates but the crowds should be lower than they will be at the end of the month.

Go as early as you can, before Spring Break (typically the end of March).
