In a few months, I'll be going to DW with my aunts and disabled cousin. He is in a power wheelchair and functionally quadriplegic (he has cerebral palsy and has some control of his limbs, but not much). I'm in charge of more or less mapping out the trip plan (my aunts aren't up to that task at this point). I'm trying to figure out what rides he WOULD be able to do without transferring, but all the information I've found has been about regular wheelchairs or ECVs, not powered wheelchairs. Does anyone have a list of things that are power chair friendly?

Thanks.

for the most part, if a wheelchair can go on the ride then a power wheelchair can too. a few off the top of my head are

at the MK

JC
pooh
buzz
the little mermaid
I want too say dumbo

EPCOT
imagination
living with the land
sea with Nemo
the Mexico boat ride

HS

Toy story mania

AK

the safari

I am sure I have missed some

and do not forget about the shows

There is information in the disABILITIES FAQs thread regarding accessible attractions.
Posts 18, 19, 20 and 21 have information about boarding and also which attractions have wheelchair vehicles. You can find that thread near the top of this board or follow the link in my signature.

In general, power wheelchairs and manual wheelchairs are handled the same for attractions. As long as the power wheelchair fits into the same 30 inch by 48 inch ‘footprint’, it can pretty much go wherever a manual wheelchair would.
Exceptions:
A wheelchair and rider that weigh more than 700 pounds may be too heavy for some accessible ride vehicles.
Wheelchairs that are reclined or have elevated footrests might be too long for some accessible ride vehicles.
Guests using wheelchairs with elevated seats or in standing position will be asked to lower than before getting into ride vehicles.

Thank you so much, Sue. That's pretty much exactly what I needed to know.
my youngest daughter also has CP. Hers is mixed type, mostly spastic quad.
She can’t stand or walk, but has more control of her upper extremities than it sounds like your cousin has.
She has not brought her power wheelchair to WDW, but we are very aware of power wheelchair functionalities and limitations.
We haven’t brought it for a number of reasons, including:
- she can propel her manual wheelchair for short distances and is OK with us pushing her
- she would get too fatigued and intimidated by driving in large crowds (she has sensory issues besides CP)
- her power wheelchair has a lot of functions that make us concerned about air travel with it and we live too far to drive (her wheelchair seat can raise up, wheelchair reclines and comes to a standing position. She can drive while the seat is raised or while standing).
