Disney world in October 2017

I have just returned from my first trip to wdw and had the most magical time ever! I am now trying desperately trying to work out when we will be able to return. I'm looking at the last two weeks in October 2017 and just wondered what this time of year is like weather and crowd wise? I know florida can experience rain at times but don't want to go at a time that is likely to rainy a lot if the time?
Has anyone any experience with October in wdw?

That is our favorite time to go. It is during Epcot's Food & Wine Festival. We find the Parks crowded, but very manageable.
For weather we typically find warm days and cooler nights. I am usually comfortable with shorts and a t-shirt for days and switch to jeans or capris at night. (Anything below 70 is not shorts weather for me.)

We went in October and it was fantastic - weather was great (even after a couple of hurricanes had gone through) we had one day of rain, that was it, crowds were not too bad, and the Halloween party was amazing! Would highly recommend it!
