Disney world first time experiences

This morning was the the first time I had the monorail to myself. Not just one car, the ENTIRE monorail!

Nevermind. Someone just got on from the Polynesian. Well, it was fun while it lasted.

It's definitely a rarity! I think we've been able to have our own car maybe once or twice, and it was the resorts monorail when we were staying at Polynesian.

My husband once had an entire ferry going from MK to TTC to himself. We had arrived at MK before open and he left his wallet with ticket inside in the car. What made it really funny was my sister was on the ferry going from TTC to MK at the time, saw him all alone on the ferry and snapped a photo.

Last trip I got stuck on Splash Mountain near park close. By the time it was fixed, it was abundantly clear that the park was empty. As I'm a slow walker at the best of time, I ended up being the very last person to leave MK.

The cast members at the front gate made a cute production of it, even though I wasn't trying to do it deliberately.

One night DH and I stayed put after Illuminations to let the crowd empty before heading back to our room at BWV. By the time we picked up and made our way out the whole place had cleared and it was literally just as walking through world showcase. It felt a little eerie actually...like a zombie apocalypse. Eventually we came across some CMs who were sprinting across the park. They were laughing and joking with each other and as they passed us they shouted "hope you had a magical day" and high fived us.

We did the same thing, Jennasis! You're right, it is kind of eerie. The donkey freaked me out.
