Disney World Engagments

Hello Everyone

I hope I am not posting this in the wrong place or going against the rules. But I am new to the board and I wanted to share with everyone me and my fiance's Engagement Video from WDW this year. We are starting to plan our wedding in Disney World now and just signed our contract. We are hoping too find some good ideas here.

So far we have booked the wedding for early Nov at the wedding pavilion, the reception at the living seas, and a desert party during illuminations on the lower french island.

If you look up the top of the board there is a subforum for 'Planning your Happily Ever After' - why don't you start a planning journal in there?

A lot of us have, and it's a great way to swap ideas!

That is exactly what we are doing too, but on October 6th

It was a bit of a surprise for me I knew they would do the second part where we dance but they never told me anything about me having to sing. which messed up my plan a bit. we were lucky to have a friend with us to video and Disney through in a surprise. They had a photo pass photographer taking pictures of us the entire time. we ended up with close to 50 pictures maybe more of our engagement happening. I didn't even realize he was there till halfway through the dance. luckily I had prerecorded the Photo pass CD before we went down there. It was totally worth it to have all of those pictures.

Hey everyone!

I'm the other half to WaveCrusherX, his bride for next November!!! Heeheehee... he's gonna be STUCK with me FOREVER! Mwahahahaha...

We are so excited. He totally surprised me on our engagement. The funny thing is, I thought he was going to propose 3 days earlier on our vacation when we went to Cinderella's castle for dinner. Not only did he not propose then, but another couple two tables down did get engaged! Over the next few days, I started thinking, "Huh, maybe he was serious when he said he can't afford a ring right now..." so I put it out of my head and was then totally surprised when it happened!! He's my sweetie, and I love him.
