Anybody know anything about this App?

Is it free? If not, what was the charge?

Was it useful while in the world?

The Disney Parks Mobile Magic app is free, even to non-Verizon customers. You just have to have a compatible smartphone. I used it on my AT&T iPhone earlier this month. The wait times and Fastpass return times were spot on. But those features are not unlocked until you are in the park where the attraction is located. So, you cannot get a Fastpass return time for Soarin' if you are in the MK.

There are other apps that have both free and paid versions. They all work somewhat okay but none of them were as accurate as the official Disney app.

I just downloaded it two days ago... It even has some games (puzzle) and Disney Park Trivia.. My DD loves it.. :)

Which App, exactly, does everyone prefer? I just looked it up on my phone and several popped up. :confused3

I was using the Disney Mobile Magic app, as well as the Unnofficial Guides lines app, and Mousewait, in DL last week. Agree with the poster above, the Disney app was way more accurate. Oddly though it hadn't been updated with Carsland.

How do you get this app? Is it in my market or do I have to go to a website?

I used the Mobile Magic App on my Droid when we were in WDW last year - it worked AWESOME & was free (at least to Verizon Wireless customers) The iPhone version came out 2 weeks after we came back from DL. That too was free and looks similar to the Droid version.

Are there any apps that let you see Fastpass return times before you get to the park?

I'll like to check them enroute when we are park hopping.

The Lines App provides fastpass estimates which are very accurate. In fact, I usually trust their statistical wait times over the "official" posted disney wait times, anyway.

Yep, I have this app on my AT&T Android phone and love it.

Mine has Carsland.

Did it have Carsland a couple of weeks ago? Mine did not when we were there, the 20-25th. The other apps did, but not Disney Mobile Magic.

Ah, I was just able to update it, and now it's there. Not that it matters since I am no longer there LOL, and it really wasn't necessary then either, since the lines in Carsland only had 1 status, LONG, when we were there.
