Disney won't care if they strike. They WANT to break the unions.
1) Actually, no.
2) I have had talks with a WDW President.
3) Disney actually NEEDS the unions.
4) Without the unions, WDW
. . . could have numerous & continuous sexual harassment claims
. . . would see equal right claims
. . . might have to pay significant wage & hour claims
. . . would have to greatly improve working conditions
5) With the union, these have been negotiated away.
6) So, through collective bargaining, Disney is safe.
NOTE: With a union, the company has an agreement which actually reduces the amount of managing they have to do. Without and agreement, the managers have to truly manage & communicate with the employees. And, this costs a lot more money than a union. (I have run union and non-union companies, and a non-union company takes a lot more work in employee involvement and manager training.)
