Sorry :(
I always wondered what they did with that.
So. I asked.
They sent it to some facility to test me for Cancer (due to my strong, strong family background)... happy to report I do NOT have cancer atm. :cool1:
EXCELLENT!

It was over 4lbs though.. I'm sure they could have spared some for you.. :rotfl:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

You know what happened to me out on that secret balcony, doncha? :scared1:

No? :confused3
What ELSE did I miss? :rotfl2:

And thanks for the giant Excellent, (Jessica?!)... I was pretty stoked as well. .. Though I must admit once he told me I didn't have cancer, I felt pretty akward because what if I had-- and I hadn't even known he'd sent away my excess chest to test? :rotfl:

:fish: pirate:

I'm glad they thought to test the tissue patsy. My mom died of cancer and it is always in the back of my mind. What a relief for you, but continue to get checked ok?:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Patsy, I'm so happy for you! It is EXCELLENT that you're happy with your new self and that your test results are great!

Erica, what exactly DID happen on that balcony??? ;) ;) ;)

no . . . :listen: . . . popcorn:: . . . :rotfl:

Was that in the trip report? I'm going to have to go read that thing again! :lmao:

It is indeed.
But to save you flipping through pages of report, I will give you the abridged version.

I went out there while we were pulling into CC, and I raised my camera to take an early morning shot, and up pops hairy shirtless man who said "hey!"

I almost dropped my camera.

Oh, hairy shirtless man was on the adjacent balcony. That's why I didn't see him until it was too late. What an eyefull..... :sad2:

Yeah.. my maternal grandmother died of breast cancer, then a month after I was born (and about a month and a half after grandma died) Mom was diagnosed.. Then again when I was 7.
Cleveland Clinic (where moms first treatment was done) told her I had to start having regular mammograms at 20 (10 years younger than the age she was diagnosed at..) so I get a 20yr jump start on one of the BEST parts of being a woman.. :worried:

...

Thanks, Lisa. I was happy too. Always good to know that you're okay :wizard:

I was quite jealous of the people who had those balconies!

Lisa, I love your pictures too! You and Patsy are quite the photographers (and I find myself inadequate yet again :rotfl2: ).

I think this is my favorite

How do I make it bigger?

Heidi, do you have any cool pictures of CC to share? popcorn::

Ooo I do! I'll get on it...sorry...caught up in the Kim Possible movie.:rotfl:

My mom was diagnosed at 39 and died at 44 of breast cancer and her sister was diagnosed in her late 40's. I have been getting mammograms since I was in my 20's as well.

*gasp!*
I'm in LOVE!
Thank you Lisa!:goodvibes

It's much cuter in person, but you get the idea. It comes with a thng to change the light from clear, to red or blue. It's really nice for a little thing. I was over the fish tank thing until I saw it, then I fell in love. Chris bought it for me as an early Valentine's Day present and it's in my living room! I am hooked! :lovestruc
