Our Valentine's gift is going to be the deposit we just put on our cruise.....we are officially booked! :thumbsup2

Wow, thats awesome! :cool1:
I might end up going for that cruise too, if the deposit is refundable. Who knows. :confused3

and thanks! I think he looks crazy yet adorable!

Okay, this is ridiculous - Erica, Suzanne, and I are going within the same 4 weeks, and again none of us are on the same cruise! :confused3

Patsy - I LOVE your new picture of Rink too! My family got a new Shih Tzu just before the holidays that looks a lot like Rink. :cloud9: She's losing her "bandit mask" though (white hair is replacing the black around her eyes).

Erica - I wish you were cruising sooner, I can't wait for another trip report! :sail:

Shih-Tzus are great! Their personalities get a bit strong, but oh well.

I LOVE his bandit mask. His coloring hasn't changed much since we got him. A lot of people told me that it would but it hasn't.

Rink, the day I brought him home:

That picture is waaay before his nose surgery, too. If you look closely, you can tell that he had to have his nostrils enlarged! Hehe.

According to the email I got from DU, the deposit is refundable up until 75 days before sailing. Just sayin..... :rolleyes1

Hmmm.. I can't request a quote though, they're site is still down..

I would have just turned 21 in April of that year.. so I'd have the master showing me around the alcohol on the Disney ships! :rotfl:

Wow, the prices for that cruise have jumped 400 dollars since I originally looked at it on DCL's site! :(

Hehehe... I'm a friend of the mixed drink :rotfl:

I've got a bottle of Bacardi Limon and another of Parrot Bay Pineapple Rum sitting around my room somewhere. Bacardi Limon mixed with 7-UP was my poison of choice while I was in Amsterdam. :cool1:

I wish I were sailing sooner too......*sigh* is it 2008 yet?

Isn't it sad? It just turned 2007 and we're all going to be wishing it away!

Patsy - Rink is ssooooo cute in his "first" picture! Tell me more about his nose surgery. Was it aggrevating for him? Did he recover quickly? How old was he when he had it done? Was it expensive? Sorry for so many questions, but Mulan is my 4th Shih Tzu, but my first to have a snort. She sounds like she might need that surgery. :guilty: I was hoping she would out grow it.

Jessica, have you been watching the Super Bowl? Have I missed any GOOD commercials (;) ;) pirate: )

Ahhh, Mulan! Thats so cute :)

He did just fine on the surgery. I had to watch him because he had one of those Elizabethan cones around his head for a couple weeks. He'd get so frustrated, he'd lay the rim of the cone flat on the ground and try to pull his head out. He was so small, though, that he'd end up flipping over the cone and smashing his face against the ground mid-flip. Silly dog. It was amusing, but I think it hurt him.
The worst part was definitely having the stitches removed! He bled for a couple hours that day and was very upset with me. He was... about 4 months old when he had it done.
I'm really glad I chose to have the surgery. We noticed an instant improvement in the way he breathed, how long he could play.. He still snorts but the Vet told me he probably always would, even though he's medically fine.
Afraid I can't answer the $$ question. Rink is insured and they covered all of the surgery... Sorry.

I watched a little, saw half time, and then moved on. I read earlier that the commercial from Disney was for some other movie. :sad2: Now the latest rumor is that the trailer will be shown in previews before "Ghost Rider." :confused3 We'll see. I'm sure as soon as the trailer comes out in theaters (or anywhere) it'll magically appear on YouTube. :goodvibes

Patsy - I have a solid black male (Mushu) and a white/gold/little black female (Mulan). If they had puppies, I'm sure they'd have one to look just like Rink. :cloud9: I must admit that I laughed (while I also thought "poor baby") when reading your description of how Rink behaved with the cone around his head. I can see mine acting the same way. :upsidedow
