Disney Wonder Sept 3-7, 2006 Part 4

At Walt Disney World I am not sure where he starts. But he rides right down main street a few minutes before the parade starts. It really is very cool. I think he starts somewhere in Liberty square. Check with the CM's at the park they will tell you the exact route. Don't miss it.

I wonder why they are doing it at California adventure and not the Magic Kingdom? Regardless, I am sure it will be great. I want to go out to California Adventure some time. Have been to Disneyland once with my roommate from college, we had a great time. My daughter and her husband are moving to Coranodo Cal. (He is starting Navy SEAL training). So I am sure I will be out in California quite often. Someone needs to take Hallie the future Disney lover to Disneyland. Anyway, if any of you believe in prayer, please be praying for SIL Colter as he is starting SEAL training in March.

I think they are doing it there to boost attendance. The park has struggled a little. My prayers go out to your family. Nice place to be stationed though.

A week later and I finally unpacked!

I am going to drive myself and the girls to Utah the first week in October. My grandmother lives there. She is 84 and getting older not younger. I need to do it before the weather starts to turn or else I have to fly. Being a southern California girl my whole life driving in the Wasatch mountains during winter is not advised. I have never even driven in any snow before. I have done this trip once before with the girls and I will do it in two days to make it easier on them and me. Wish me luck!!

Great pics, LCTsMom - isn't it strange to be taking photos of every sign, carpet, dinner plate, and bathroom fixture?!? I just can't help it! Nice family pics, too. Did you scan your professional Disney pics or did you get a CD of them?

I see that you visited the Nassau Pirate Museum. I have considered going twice now, but was reluctant to spend the $$ so I have not visited. Can you tell us if you found it interesting, worth the price, and anything that made it remarkable? The Articles of 1723 contract was interesting. I won't "neglect my business" alright! And I am curious about rule #9....

just come hide in my parents luggage with me! then we'll have 11nights on the wonder. we don't need to get off the ship and you don't need to go to real dinners. there's enough food on board!

Evening all!

Taking a breather from writing - went to this course today for work where we all have to pick an ambition and start working on it. I picked writing! But then I got homework.....so the next trip installment will have to wait until tomorrow. I COULD post the spa visit from the Sea Day just to appease everyone and to drag it out a little further.....hehe....

Holly, and Cheryl (and anyone else who plans to attend) - what nights are you guys going to the Not-So-Scary party? Lionel and I are taking his godson, who will be dressing like Darth Vader for the third year in a row. I'm not sure when we're going just yet......and will anyone be at the Food and Wine festival this year at all? We will - likely a few times. Gotta get my creme brulee fix.

Where's the Headless Horseman at? I don't want to miss it!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Dude! That guy is crazy cool, when i saw him, he had these things on the horse's horseshoes (whoa...lol) and it made it sound like there was a group of horses running down mainstreet. I was just standing outside a shop and all of the lights went out and I turned around, Shazam! There he was, pummeling down mainstreet USA. It was one of the coolest feelings watching this guy ride.

We dropped off MIL at the airport earlier this evening... She's such a help when she's here. I get some free time....

After leaving the airport, my DH starts talking about how he looked at last minute crusises from/to various destinations. Then, after having dinner, he revealed to me that he looked on his work website for job openings in FL. I sqeeled REALLY?! He didn't see any open postions (yet)...Geesh it sure would be nice to be close to the parks, ocean, the ships again.... I'd be on cloud

After visiting Florida it would be the only place I would be willing to leave my friends for. It is so pretty. Of course being closer to the boats would be nice. So your DH is hooked too. I laugh because Tim always said he never wanted to go on a cruise. Now he wants to go again YESTERDAY!
