:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I don't think the house will fit in my luggage. I gott find a new large suitcase. The kids killed our other one. So, now I'll be off some time today to find a new to me suitcase.

ok... as long as you're aware of the fact that it won't fit! did you find a new suitcase??

We'll be packing lunches this year. The cafeteria now caters from outside companies like fazoli's or some thing like that. There's no way we can afford to let her *eat out* every day. She'll be packing her lunch for sure. On occassion, I'll let her splurge maybe once a month or two. Sparingly for sure.
Our high schools are like that. They have a food court feel to them, with lots of choices from outside venders. Thankfully, the elementary & middle schools serve traditional lunches. Once a week the middle school brings in pizza for sale for lunch but that's the only special food that is offered.

Morning, guys! :sunny:

I just found out that Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party starts on our last night in the parks. I thought I had read that someone had gone to this before. Is it something that's not to be missed? We're really hesitant to add another expense to the trip. Do they give out candy?

Thanks!

Dawn

oooo i'm doing that for the first time this year! yeah from what it sounds like they give out candy. they have a special parade and special fireworks and treat or treating around the park. i can't wait!! :Pinkbounc

Poor Eeyore looks like he is going to melt in your picture.
That's because he probably was! :rotfl: It was taken like May 14th of this year in Disneyland. And you look at me and I'm wearing pants...that was a bad idea. :sad2: It was kinda cool in the morning so I decided to go with pants...good thing we were staying at the Grand Californian and I got to change into shorts about midday! :rotfl:

Cool! I will check that out too... I noticed you responded to my goofy run hysteria also, so is there a 5k and I'm just not seeing anything about it on the website?

thanks for the info... :goodvibes

Hope yours was as good as ours! We're still on 2 miles, but I almost have DH convinced to try and up it to 3 on Wednesday. We'll see..... :confused3

We're all showered and cozy on the couch with our two loves - DH and his zombie game, and me and my DIS. I want my documents, and a Mickey waffle, and then life would be PERFECT.

And maybe a million dollars or world peace or something like that too.
It depends on what you call a "good run"! :rotfl2: Actually, I am very proud of myself. It was my 2nd run of the summer...but I should say it was my first real run. I ran/walked 10 times around our loop. It was roughly 3 miles and I am extremely proud of myself for doing that much. When I first started I came to the conclusion that I would do 6 laps...but when I got to lap 5 or so I was like please...I can do more! So I said to myself, let's do 10! I am so glad I did because I am sooo proud of myself! :cloud9: I still need to grab a shower cause Holly was in there...but she just got out so I will be leaving in a few to go wash up. My plan was to walk a lap, run a lap but it didn't really work out that way...but it was close to half walking, half running all 10 laps, I'd say it was about 65-45 walking-running! :goodvibes

I try to encourage buying any time I can. Both my boys buy every day so they're easy. DD buys some days and brings when they're serving something she doesn't like. I have found that my kids have tried a lot of different foods by buying that they wouldn't otherwise have tried. I was thrilled when my boys discovered they liked salad because of the French dressing. Who knew?! :rotfl:
Ooo I LOVE salads! :teeth:  That will be all I'm eating when I get back to school...none of that hamburger for lunch everyday crap. I'll blame the red meat on my weight gain instead of the truth...all of their good desserts! :rotfl: :cloud9:

We always had packed lunches...and for the most part I loved it! :teeth:  However in elementary school we had pizza fridays EVERY friday and I would always bug my mom on fridays to let me do that. I'd get my pizza...and a chocolate milk! :rotfl: They went quite well together I must say! :teeth: :rotfl: Also in middle school when we would run out of sandwich stuff or bagels, I would love to get the 2 dollars from my mom so I could get a bagel, a lemonade, and ho-hos! :teeth: :rotfl: In high school I didn't really eat "normal" lunches except for my freshman and senior years. I can't remember sophomore year lunches...maybe they were normal too...but junior year all I usually had was a fruit snack type thing...I think? :confused3 I know that's all I ate for lunch for at least a month. Don't ask me how I survived...cause I don't know! I never understood how some people could not eat lunch...and then there I was not eating lunch either. But mind you I did have a *healthy* sized snack when I would get home...I guess that was my lunch to me. My senior year I had interning right after lunch so I would just go home for lunch and make myself a ham sandwich. :goodvibes :cloud9:

Yeah I know that's a problem for me. I was trying for the most part to keep it down. The problem is I'm so gosh darn competitive...even if there's no one to compete with I still go all out... That and I'm a sprinter...I always just want to go all out but I don't have enough stamina for that! :rotfl:

DD packs a lunch. She's not a very adventurous eater.

Alright well I must go take my shower before it gets any later. :rotfl: I'll be back soon...hopefully...as long as I don't keel over in the shower! :rotfl:

My dh always had balogna sandwiches from his mom. Now that he's tramatized, I can't make him that. Thanks mom.

No, I didn't find a suitcase yet. That's one item I don't want to buy off Ebay, can you imagine the shipping? :rotfl2: Thanks for asking Holly.

BTW, how many h's are traveling Holly, Heidi, ????????? in your group?
