I just bought a pair of yellow Corona flip flops and matching hat ( I like yellow) for the trip. Actually they were free. We got a $10 coupon from JC Penny's and they were $9.99

I saw them today at a video game store DH dragged me into (hehe), and I thought they were the coolest things ever....they had the pirate coin necklace and the key. I figured I'd check ebay as $15 seemed a bit steep, but seems the folks there are selling them for $25!

yeah the necklace and key would be really cool... and $25 is a little ridiculous, it makes that $15 look good!

Sugaswim, a marathoner at work told me I should sign up for the Disney one and just walk what I could not finish. I'm thinking about it......2007, right?

yeah! you should totally do it! yep i'm doing it 2007 definitely. most likely i'll do it again in 2008. if you're thinking of doing it you might want to sign up. it's 80% full already and the half is closed. and if for some reason you don't think you can do it this year, if you let them know by a certain date (sometime in november i believe) they will automatically sign you up for 2008...

but that's what i did. i couldn't run the whole way last year (due to my own stupidity i paid dearly and i will be redeeming myself). but i walked the last 8 miles... and the disney one is so much fun. it's a great experience. and just about everyone is there to have a good time. yeah there are some really really fast people, but it's all about fun. they have characters set up all over the place you can stop and take a picture with them. you get to see back areas of each of the parks. and everyone cheers for you. it's a really great experience. i think that's part of the reason i'm so keen to do it again.
