Okay, you can expand your search by looking for Poet shirts. You can look at trendy stores like Hot Topic, or goth stores. The vest thing is also called a waistcoat. If you're looking for a pattern, I like Simplicity #4923, which is their version of the POTC Captain Jack costume. I have some pirate links, but they're on the computer that died. However, I like the Museum Replicas site-- museumreplicas.com, click on the link to their Pirates page. I'll keep thinking about possible places to get waistcoats.

I'm supposedly getting proposed to today by my stalker.
I was made aware, yesterday, that he's been carrying around an engagement ring waiting ... and today is the day.

Oh, lucky me!

Okay, you can expand your search by looking for Poet shirts. You can look at trendy stores like Hot Topic, or goth stores. The vest thing is also called a waistcoat. I'm going to assume that your parents still claim you as a dependent on their tax return therefore the emancipation ????

Mine did that too and it killed my taxes every year (I worked full time while in school) Plus no financial aid for me, parents made too much $$$. Tell your parents to stop claiming you. I think after a year of no longer being a dependent, you can file for financial aid with your income.

Now, if it's because you're parents drive you nuts, I suggest you move out. Once you're 18, you are free to go (that's the parent in me talking! Could you hear it )

As for the stalker, that's weird. Be careful. Someone who is obsessed enough to buy a ring with the hopes you might say yes (based on no factual experiences or reality) is walking a fine line between sane and insane. Women are attacked, harassed, mamed and even murdered by these types daily. Good luck!

Yeah, I can't pull enough financial aid to cover tuition and books and my college won't give me scholarships, despite having been on the Dean's List and in the honors college since my first semester, because I "don't need it."

Dad came home last night and basically told me that even though they helped my brother, they can't afford to help me because they've got to pay back his loans and get him through Grad school. So I've gotta figure something else out.. I never asked them to pay for it, but I needed them to pull PLUS loans which they won't do. So I'm stuck.
I suppose I shouldn't have pulled those student loans for Europe

Oh well.
Yeah, he's crazy. He supposedly already refers to me as his wife but he never actually talks to me.. He sees me and he breaks down into tears for a couple hours. He just annoys everyone else.

Ooo, thanks Dawn! I'll try to pop in to Hot Topic this week. If I can't find anything I'll try the Museum site...but buying shirts on the internet is a bit risky for me because I can't try them on to make sure the fit properly.

FYI Patsy: The number one cause of death for South Carolina women is homocide at the hands of their significant other or ex-significant other. We rank 5th in the nation for violence against women. I see these stories all the time in the news. Be careful.

I checked it out a little for her. The stalker laws stink in West Virginia. The other thing it suggested was to call the police and the judge will consider giving you one. With this guy he seems very creepy and if he proposes call the police. Is he calling you and does he know where you live?
