Why can't they leave it on one channel. My DD lost the remote and it is driving him crazy. Do you think I have looked for it?

What's even funnier is that on our TV, the power button is PUSHED IN so you HAVE to use the remote to turn it on and off. Needless to say, when it's off, and we can't find the remote, it's HEAVEN! But then again, when it's ON and we can't find the remote...it's ... TIME TO TURN THE TV WAAAAY DOWN and then unplug it.
