It WON'T be me, in fact I won't have any internet access after the 1st so if anything big happens/changes, those of you who have my number, please call my cell phone.

I'm not planning on doing a live trip report either. I anticipate being busy doing other things. I hope, though, that we remember to ask someone on the main DCL thread to save us a couple of pics of the port cam before we leave. I'd love to have that when we get back.

At least FLA has decent distanced rest stops, unlike TX.

ergh... my ex-husband is from East Texas and we have done a ton of road trips down there....and I say a big A-MEN to the lack of rest stops! Holy heck if you had to pee it was pray for a WalMart because that was about all you were going to find in some of those wide open spaces!

Beautiful beautiful part of the country though (despite the ex being there and all )

With the laptop I'll have internet at MCO so I can post riiiight before I get on the bus-- possibly even while I'm on the bus, before we get too far away from the airport.

I know!!! We really thought 2,000 would be a big deal. Shoot! Until recently I thought 5,000 would be a big deal. If we keep it up, we will have 10,000 before we cruise.

BTW I saw a post earlier about Southern accents. I do not have one because I grew up in South Florida. As the Executive Director tells me- "you talk like a damn northerner with marbles in your mouth" Now he has a southern accent. I teased him one day that I didn't understand how someone who was an attorney and a judge could sound so southern (very slow speech with a heavy drawl) Of course what I was really thinking is "well, I can't help that you are just an educated redneck" hehehehehe Glad I know how to keep my thoughts to myself.

I get all the accents in my family. My FIL is from Boston. My mom was from North Carolina and then you have us plain West Coast Californians.

I finally convinced DH to keep the rental and park at the port instead of taking the car back and after the cruise trying to get another one! I'll pay the 48 dollars for parking. It worth it to get of the ship and go on my way with little to no hassle.

Sea World has Polar bears

Polar bears are my FAVORITE!!!! I have a stuffed polar bear from when I was 12, I bought her with my very first babysitting check and I take her on all my trips! She is even coming on the cruise.

(so when you see a chubby woman posing a stuffed polar bear and taking pictures of it around the ship, you'll know its me! I actually wish it was my dog instead... actually I wish it was a baby, but you work with what you got! )
