Hmmm... I want my looooooooooooong hair back again. I used to not take very good care of it at all.. and it was dry and frizzy and lived in a ponytail.. now I buy decent product and try to treat it better and it seems to be holding up a lot better.
Ive got a lot of hair so haircuts for me are a pain.
I've never met a hairstylist who didnt start playing with my hair and react like this:
"Ohhh you have beauitful hair..."
*sigh*
"Ohhhh you have a looooot of beautiful hair..."
..an hour later..
"..We can put more layers in it if you really want.."

By then I'm usually like LET ME OUTTA HERE!!!

true, I think we all go through that. I'm not going to have the red head wench hair doo I wanted for the cruise. Wahhh!

red head wench hair?!

Not sure how Pooh got in this shot, but its the best I could find. I was going to try and be this one for pirate night. Sad to say, my hair nor my body will cooperate. So, I'm working on plan B.

fade to black- good night for real. see my light is off really off.

Ah.. someone else awake.. and according to the light.. online... Hmm..

You know.. I've been looking at the page for information on working on DCL for the past hour or so and it looks REALLY interesting.

Definitely something I might look into. I think I'd like it more than I would like working at WDW through the College Program..anyone ever heard of anyone doing this as a break from college?

no one is up yet?! I'm in shock.

So.. my college is 19 on the Princeton Review's list of...

"Reefer Madness"

.... what exactly does that say about us?.. Hmmm..

I've never won anything :(

Is everyone calling it an early night?

I just played around with that new Colorflirt stuff from Herbal Essences.. my once blonde hair is now a rather bright shade of red...

If I wake up and some hair is still there..I'm happy..No matter what color it is... :cool1:

Welcome to our thread sugaswim.

hehe yes, i was on the dvc member cruise. i loved it. i seriously was like a 5 year old every night after dinner running back to the stateroom to see what kind of goody we were getting that night!

i'm a sales rep. so i drive around all day long. hehe. so you're not the only one!

the cruise i won was for 4. but my dad got another room. and he did some kind of weird stuff and our room got upgraded for free so he could be next to us. we're no longer in an inside stateroom. we have an outside one with a window (which is good, we're used to the verandas). and my mom is going to stay in that room too and my sisters and i get a room to ourselves. i already called the big bed and i'm not sharing it as i'm the one who won the cruise :rotfl:
I am not reading ahead, but posting as I get caught up this morning so if these questions have already been answered SUGASWIM sorry.

YUP the DVC Member Cruise was a blast. :cheer2: I am bringing my Pirate Mickey pin to wear on pirate night pirate: . DH wanted to be a pirate captain so I made him a costume for that cruise and we may bring it this time. We are bringing our kids (who live in PA) (DS#2, DS#1 and his  Girlfriend--They are not officially engaged, but are talking "wedding next year".) so if they are weirded out by us in costumes, we will downplay that part. This is a first cruise for all of them. When we were on the Member's Only Cruise we booked two staterooms so we could bring them. To get the best rate we had to book one in each of our names but thought sleeping arrangements could be changed once on board. But when we found out about Sarah, we changed a son and made it one cabin for Girls' and one for Guys'

I asked DVC to tell DCL that we wanted single beds in both rooms. The large bed can be separated into two beds so Sarah and I will each have one and in the guys room, the Stateroom Host will make up the couch for one of the guys and the big bed will be separted there for the other two.

I am on the road because I am a homecare pediatric physical therapist. What kind of products do you sales rep?

 Neat that the cruise details worked out so well.
We are in Category 11s. What did you get?

OLD FORGE!! :cool1: I bet it is different from when I used to go up to McCauley Mountain skiiing in the 60s. But that is my neck of the woods. Love the mountains. In Indianapolis, the closest thing we get to a mountain is a speed bump.

We went biking Sunday. Planned to ride a couple miles and each week add a bit more with the goal of making it to the McDonalds that is 7 miles from our condo up a bike-walking trail that used to be a RR track. We rode past the McDonalds to see where the bike trail went over the river, then back, light snack and home. 16 miles. Riding in FLAT INDIANA is not at all the same as riding in BUMPY NY. We bought the bikes when we lived east of Troy and nothing is flat over there either--close to the WHITE MOUNTAINS of Vermont. They called it the Little Hoosick Valley, but it was still bumpy!!

How was the weather? You should have missed BLACK FLY SEASON--were there any stragglers?

If you have answered already, sorry, I am writing as I read and you guys have 6 pages on here since I went to bed last night.

The water park, tubing on the boats and the company (for the most part haha) were great but camping can be so much work not to mention that one night I had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and as I walked out of the cabin two raccoons just looked at me. Needless to say I turned around and decided to hold it till morning.
Suz
Whem we lived in NY we were tent campers so not only would see racoons but HEAR them through the tent walls. They are NOISY!
No bathroom in the cabin? I thought only tents had no potty.

We got one!!!

The Adirondacks are notorious for brown bears so all in all I was psyched it was just raccoons and not bears :scared1: It really is beautiful but would still be beautiful staying in a hotel  I didn't complain though :goodvibes We were with 6 families 11 kids 12 adults. The kids were all awesome!! Even mine :confused3 Some adults are not so good at compromise ;)

Suz

Now call me  but I want to see a bear when we go to Yellowstone! Not up close but I wan tto see one!!

oooo i didn't think to bring my pirate pin! i should wear mine too. those pins were so much fun. i think the funniest was the last night i went running down the hall after i had looked into a room that was being cleaned up for the night and saw the towels. i started yelling that we were going to be getting towels. and my mom saw in another room the envelopes with the pictures in them. and she was like no i think we're just getting pictures. when we got back after dinner we found out we both were right :rotfl:

i work for an alcohol distributor. so basically i'm a beer rep. i'm in and out of bars and restaurants all day long. it's fun, i do enjoy it, i've been doing it for 2 years now, i just can't see myself doing it forever. and what i get paid isn't very good. so i'm not going to be doing it much longer, as i just found out that there is no such thing as a raise at my company. and that one of the guys who's been there for 17 years makes less money now than he did 10 years ago. and i would never be able to survive on what i make now. the only reason i do is cause i live at home with my parents and only pay for my car.

i believe we originally were supposed to have a category 11... but looking at what all the rooms are i think we got upgraded to an 8 or a 9. i know we're not an inside room anymore and we have outside rooms with the porthole view. i will have to check the information we have. i don't know where my dad has decided to horde it all away.

we can't wait to go. we have so many vacations this year. we went to disneyland in may. and my parents had booked that trip the day before i won the cruise and they were like great what are we going to do. if they had waited one day we would have just tacked disney world onto the end of the trip. then when we get back my parents are home for a week and then they're going on the 11 night cruise for their 25th anniversary. and then staying at disney and us kids are heading down for the last weekend in september. and then we're going on the christmas cruise. we're getting so spoiled this year! :Pinkbounc

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I was so amazed at all the stuff. We live in a LITTLE CONDO and had just downsized over 50% a couple months earlier when we moved here so more stuff is not a biggie, but it was still fun!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: But now I am stuck with WHAT DO I DO WITH THE PICTURES, etc. I had to get rid of paintings I had for years and some I did myself. Photos of DS#1 and DS#2 are in albums (or actually in the box to be put into albums) instead of on walls......

WONDERFUL :thumbsup2
DH works 11 and 12 hour days so even a weekend at home, alone with him at the condo is a vacation for us. We made a business trip in March into vacation by taking our little motorhome and while he was at meetings I wandered around Charleston, SC. Then we did 2 nights at DVC Hilton Head and two more camping at Myrtle Beach before driving back to Indy.

We took a week off the end of May and went to see DS#1 and DS#2, met Sarah :woohoo: and decided to see if she would like to join us on the cruise, since she is serious about joining us as a family member. Then we spent a couple days with my Mom and brother in WHITESBORO, NY (Listening Suzanne?) where I cleaned and did laundry as my brother is kept BUSY as primary caregiver for my Mom who has Alzheimer's:sad: Then a couple days at my college reunion--Russell Sage College in Troy, NY--then Home. WHEEW--TIRED. Not sure that was vacation--I worked too much for it to count as vacation. But it was different from normal and we had a nice time, so I guess it is.
Jan :earsgirl:

hehehe anything that's a break from the normal counts as a vacation. no matter what you do! we never come back from vacatoins rested. well the cruises we do. but disney world... nope never. we come back more tired than when we got there. hehe...

yeah we have 3 of those pictures. they need frames. plus we have another picture that size that they gave to each cabin on the christmas cruise in 2004. so we have 4 giant pictures that nothing has been done with them yet. and we got them all signed by 'ducky' hehe. man everything needs frames. my college diploma has been sitting in it's envelope on for 2 years just waiting. :rotfl2:

I remember when we remodeled the kitchen, we decided to do the plumbing at the same time. I was so sick of restaurant food.

How do you get sick of restaurant food? I need to figure that one out and maybe these 10lbs would come off!
