Hello, just received our room assignment and I was wondering how deck 2 is and if anyone has stayed in this room?
Is it noisy? We have never had an ocean view before, hope its good. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:o

We stayed on Deck 2, but on the other side of the ship. We loved being on Deck 2. The proximity to the restaurants on Decks 3 and 4, plus having the Edge on the same Deck for the tweens in our group was perfect. We liked the location so much that for our upcoming cruise on the Wonder, we've booked the same rooms on Deck 2!

We were in 2116 last August. Great location. Quiet compared to the same room on the other side (right under the kitchen of the main dining rooms)image.jpeg image.jpeg

Thank you very much for the photos and replies. It makes me feel a whole lot better about deck 2. I'm excited now after seeing the pictures. Did you have the Frozen package with the throw? How was it? My daughter would love that. Thanks for the tip about laundry. Much appreciated.:o

After we found exactly room 2116 years ago, we have booked it specifically every time we're on the Wonder. It is fantastic. The location seems perfect for everything in the world, it's close to stairs to a great deck (3) and not-so-busy aft elevators, and it isn't down a long narrow hallway. Any concerns we had about noise disappeared the first day we were in the room. And the view out the large porthole was cool.

This is a fantastic room for that category. Please don't tell anyone about it, so it will be available next time we need it!!

I guess the secret is out!!!

We stayed in 2114 last month and LOVED it!!! Close enough to elevators, not under MDR's, far enough forward that we didn't feeel or hear the engines that much (had stayed 2643 & always felt & heard engines coming in and out of port, lots of hanger swaying too).

Wouldn't hesitate to book again in a heartbeat!

We were in 2618 (directly across the elevator lobby from 2116) in January. We were a bit worried about noise and traffic but it turned out to be a great location. It was convenient to everywhere and very quiet. I would definitely pick this location again. It was great to be able to pop out of the room, straight up the elevator and go to the buffet for coffee or snacks whenever we wanted.

We loooooooved the Frozen package. Still have the throw on our bed here In Paris.

And as it is In the aft section you can go fetch a drink within 2 minutes on deck 9.

So glad I found this thread. I want to change my room assignment and this gives me some good rooms to request!

We had this room last July ('14) and loved it. It was quiet and close to elevators. It made it easy to get the restaurants. We also liked that the Edge was on the same level. We are staying down the hall just a bit on our next cruise. I hope it is just as nice.

So excited! We are in 2114 for our thanksgiving 2016 cruise and will have an "Edger" lol!!

We were midship deck two room 2070 for the WBPC cruise. I was concerned about being so close to the midship elevators and Edge but it was AWESOME! We never had hallway noise issues. It was close enough to laundry to make it easy. In fact, I would do laundry during our MDR at Triton's and in between courses run down the midship stairs, change loads, drop off loads at the room, etc. It was also far enough away that all the heat, humidity and laundry smells stayed away.

The only issue we dealt with was that it was under the main deck 3 walkway past the side of Tritons to the back of the ship and people let their kids run there at night and you could hear it. They really need to post a "no running" sign there at night. BUT, I would book the same room again. We had horrible rough seas and nothing creaked or popped, we had no vibrations when docking. We could actually see the stabilizers right below us, so I think that helped our situation. Another thing that I loved about this room was that the ships' wake broke right outside our window, so one evening, there was a pod of dolphins that literally jumped past our window for over an hour playing in the ship's surf. It was SOOOOO cool.

That room is very close to the aft elevators..... when I stayed near the front elevators... lobby can get little noisy with chatty people. I just adjusted my sleep time to midnight. Sound drops off significantly after midnight.

Love those oversized portholes and would be willing to stay there again.
