DH and I have booked this cruise, and would like to meet up with others cruisers going. We will have a fish extender group, a group meet up, maybe a Mixiology Class or Wine tasting. Come and join us.

Woo Hoo, great to have you. Are you on face book? Are you a first time cruiser?

Hi Everyone, we are Diane, DH Dave and DD Sophia (8)...can't wait to get to know everyone!
This is our 2nd Disney Cruise (DD was only 15 months on the last one and doesn't remember a thing!) but we've cruised about 6 times, mostly Princess!

We just booked this morning (moved our May 17th - 3 day Ensenada DCL cruise to this one) --- woohoo!!!! We love Cabo so we're so excited. We have to pull the kids out of school, but I'll deal with that next year.

DH, myself, DS (10), and DD (7). This cruise will be our 6th Disney cruise and 4th for the kids. Can't wait!!!

Wow! That didn't take long to get a group going LOL...

Booked this morning. Shhh...Dh doesn't know! Hopefully we will be able to make this cruise. I just couldn't pass up a chance to book when we've been sobbing into our pillows about DCL quitting the Mex Riviera cruises!!

I could kick myself for only going on 1 Mexican Riviera cruise --- we should've taken way more had I known they were only going to be here for such a short time. It's one of the best cruises ever --- it was my kids' first, and they always talk about it.

The Dolphin excursion in Cabo is way way better than Cozumel or Costa Maya -- if anyone was looking into it. I think I want to get a boat ride to Lover's Beach and hang out there --- it was just beautiful.

Oh wow, I went back in to see what other cabins were available and the only verandah category showing (for 4 people) is 5A!

I guess I'll check again after the courtesy holds have expired :rotfl2:!

Edited to add: guess I typed too soon...went back in and now there's a couple more categories!

Hello Gang!

Meredith from Utah here!

This will be our third Disney cruise, went on one in Sep/Oct 2008, then the Mexican Riviera back in Jan 2011.

I'm so glad we're back on the West coast. It makes it so much more affordable. I love Mexico, however I'd rather be in the Caribbean, but, oh well... another time.

We are bringing our twin sons, who will be 7 (almost 8) on the cruise. We also have two daughters, but they've got to be on the other cruises, while we left the twins at home, so THIS IS THEIR VACATION. ha ha. Am I a jerk?

Anyway, nearly 18 months out, but I can wait. I've asked for admittance to the FB group.

Oh, I'm currently 36, DH is 47. We're both geeks and are ready to kick some *** in trivia! ha ha ha. I work for a company called StubHub and DH is a systems admin.

I drink. A lot.

Meredith in Utah.

Wahoo! Booked this cruise today :) We are traveling with another family on their first Disney Cruise, but it will be our 3rd Disney Cruise for me, DH, DD(11), DD(10).

Even though it's over a year away, I can't wait!

Question-need opinions!! I plan on booking for me, hubba and son, but I have 2 adult daughters that may or may not be able to go. It's just too far off to tell. Would it be better to reserve with them included or wait and see and add on a cabin when we know for sure? Does the trip insurance include canceling for any reason?
TIA! :)

Ticker no longer accurate, hmm need to remember how to change it!

So excited to be joining the October 11 cruise!!

It will be myself, my boyfriend and my two children who will be 13(dd) and 11(ds) their ages at the time of sailing. This will be my children and my second Disney cruise and my boyfriends first for Disney since he has only sailed twice on Carnival. I told him that Carnival is like the motel 6 and Disney is the Ritz Carlton of the sea :rotfl: I can't wait to see the gift and the castaway check in line this time. We live in Northern CA so we will be driving down. I will be celebrating my birthday on October 15th so the cruise date was perfect! We usually go to Disneyland for my birthday so I was so excited to see on Facebook about the cruise coming back to Cali and my daughter went nuts when the Disney channel announced it. Our first cruise was back when it was the Mexican Rivera out of Long Beach CA about 6 years ago...wow time goes by fast. I remember coming on the dis board back then and meeting people on the ship and having gift exchanges...was a lot of fun! Well, it seems so far away but I am so looking forward to 2015! I'm also going on Carnival in January 2015 without kids to the Caribbean for the first time so it will be a busy and fun year!!! Looking forward to keeping in touch with everyone

StubHub is great. Is that where you can order tickets? I love getting baseball tickets from there. I know that the corporate here where I live if it is the same company

I hear you about taking the kids out of school but what a great experience I think and well worth the time off of school. I ended up homeschooling my two kids so we have school that comes a long with us so my kids are not to happy about that but we may have to use our sick time for the cruise

This is so far out that it doesn't seem real. So glad DCL is back doing Mexico cruises out of California. pirate:

We have registered for this cruise as well. First time on DCL, been to Disneyland multiple times as a family and love it. Wondering what the thoughts from the group on how older kids do on the Wonder? Our kids at the time of the cruise will be: DS (15), DD (13), DD (7).

Just wondering what people's experience are with older tweens/teens and how they will do on the cruise. They enjoy Disneyland, but I imagine 'cruise-style' is different than 'park-style'.

:beach: I have added your thread to the cruise meet list pixiedust:
Have a great Cruise!

:cool1: Hi everyone, my husband, John and I will be joining you for this cruise. Our first DCL cruise was last year, a reposition from Vancouver to Los Angeles. My second DCL cruise is in a few months on the Fantasy. I am participating in my first FE for that cruise and am so excited about it. I am already thinking of FE gifts for this cruise!!! It will be easier to bring stuff since we only have to drive 2 hours. We have been to Mexico several times on other lines, so we will spend the entire time on the ship. We love playing trivia so you will find us there.
