Disney Wonder crossing the Panama Canal, Aug 26, 2016

Has anyone received their Mickey mail yet?
They sent ours on July12th and still haven't received it :(

I got mine almost 2 weeks ago, I think, and my mom got hers just a couple of days after me. I live locally though, so the mickey mail seems to get to me super fast! :) I think it's common for them to arrive 2-3 weeks after they're mailed though.

Still no mickey mail :( Hmm, not sure why we don't have it ... we do have a TA but it sounds like she's having them send it to us directly. Disney said it can take up to 3 weeks, which means it would be here by August 2nd ... the last day we have in our apartment (we are literally handing over the keys later that night lol) :faint:

Then we are staying with a friend for 3 days ... which is our future roommate (but his lease ends in mid August). THEN we move all the stuff from the storage garage on the 6th/7th. Lol it's kind of crazy. I'm trying to get the motivation to pack some more .... it's not working :p

That is awesome!!

This is our first time through the Panama Canal (not the first time on a Disney ship ;)) so I had to go and check with the Personal Navigators from last year and the year prior, they are within about an hour from each other (2014 left the Gatun looks around 4.30) but here is last year's schedule so you might have a clue.
It would be awesome if you were there and any photos you could share here would be REALLY appreciated.
Hope to see you at the locks/visitor center!

I can't comment on the Mickey mail, except it better get there quick! Mine was shipped to Maryland and since I'm in Florida now I can only hope it's there. I guess I need to make some calls and check on it.

I can relate to stressful moving stuff though. I'm currently in a rental, supposed to close on a house August 15, move stuff over there that week, drive up to Maryland the 23rd, drop the dogs off with my SIL, and fly with mom the morning of the 25th.

Oh gosh, I can definitely sympathize. Granted, I imagine selling a home is extremely stressful o.o
Yeah we all need this vacation!

Just curious: the Wonder has capacity for 2400 passengers, and eight hundred some odd rooms.
Our fish extender group has 14 rooms and 38 people ? Are there more extender groups ? Are we we the only ones participating ?
Seems like a very small group compared to the capacity and size of ship .
Btw, we are in our 50s and this will be our first cruise EVER .
Any tips or hints would be greatly appreciated

Amunet. Is there room in the chocolate museum tour for two more adults?
Just found past posts about it and we NEED .I mean. We like chocolate. Mmmmmmmm
Would love to go if there is room . thanks.

Wow, starting your first cruise ever with a 2 week one ... you'll get spoiled!! Lol. My boyfriend is doing the same.
As for the rooms and people, well, not everyone uses the DIS boards. Plus, not everyone wishes to join the exchange. It's nice having small groups, that way you can take more time to personalize or handcraft items that you wouldn't have time to do in large groups ^_^

Oh okay sorry. Sounded like you were trying to get a bunch of people together to go on the tour. Save on taxi fare .
