DISNEY WONDER, Cabin 5020

WE will be going on the Disney Wonder in Aug. Has anyone stayed in cabin 5020 deck 5?? THANKS...

My DH and 2 DD stayed there Sept 2003 and It was very nice. We did not have any problems with noise. The only thing we were not crazy about was the the light bulb outside our window. It was very bright and we had to keep the curtain closed in order to sleep. Small price to pay to have a free window IMO

We love 5520 and 5020. Great location near the forward elevators, not too much hallway sound, and best of all, the free porthole!

We loved it! Just upstairs from the theatre (but no noise from it) and down the hall from the kids clubs (and no noise from them). And, as inkkognito noted, the window is free!!!!

That is 'our' room! We had it on our last 2 cruises and have it booked for next year's cruise!

I love how close it is to the Kid's Lab, and the movie theater is just down the hall. Also, to go to the Walt Disney Theater you just go down the stairs one flight and you are there! The free window is great, but we also love the location. The hall is quiet because there are not that many rooms (so not that many people walking by). It is easy for the kids to find the room (just 3 doors down on the left).

We always had inside cabins before, so it is nice having a window. If we couldn't get one of the free porthole rooms, I would go with one of the Cat. 11 sideways rooms in that same hall. Our friends had one of those last time, and it is a nice layout. I am so surprised it isn't talked about more on this board.

If you have kids, you will love the location! Enjoy your free window!

My best friend and I are staying in 5020 in December and can't wait! Leaving our husbands and teenage kids home this time (they didn't want to come believe it or not!). I have sailed Disney 3 times before but she has never been on a Disney Cruise and we were really happy to be able to get this room!

It's a great location, but I missed having the cabinet for clothing that the other cabins have. With four of us it was hard to find places to store clothing.

We were in this room Oct 2004!! Perfect location and the view is not obstructed at all.

DD dropped one of her Polly pocket men behind the couch.LOL Wonder if he is still cruising!! LOL

We will be in room 5520 this October. The other side of the ship!!
