Last year today we took our first trip to disney world. I am reliving last year like oh guess what we were doing at this time last year? I am driving my family nuts ! We are planning a trip back this coming Dec and I can hardly wait.
Just thought I would share with some people who understand what disney withdrawl is like.
lol

I feel your pain. Just knowing we would miss our August fix this year was driving me nuts, so i called friday and booked a quick weekend for the girls the first of Oct.

Decembers a great time to go, the decorations are fantastic and if its within the first two weeks the crowds are low.

I will probably be doing the same thing this summer when we are at home. Fortunately we are also going again, this time in Sept-Oct..

150 days left!

Our last trip was October 2004. We'd gone every year since 2000 so skipping last year was SO hard!! The week in October that we would have gone I kept saying "oh, we'd probably be doing this or doing that right now".

I can't wait for our trip this year ..... 174 days! I started my official countdown at 500 days - it's nice to be down to less than 1/2 of that! :teeth:

... start planning your next trip the day you get back!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

We avoid withdrawal by getting the ball rolling on our next trip for the following year. Some people think we are obsessed, but I just know how much my family enjoys WDW and would not want to go anywhere else on vacation. Why would you go anywhere else :confused3: WDW is educational, fun, magical and is for kids of all ages. The universal appeal is what makes it wonderful to us!

:thumbsup2

Funny thing: WDW has universal appeal.........Universal has no appeal.....:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

After our first time in 2003, my DH was begging to go back. So we took a very poorly, two-weeks-notice trip in November of 2005. I told him that trip have to last him to 2007. Now I am the one begging to go back!! How do you find reasonable plane tickets to go so often??? Or do you just cough it up, realizing that at Disney, nothing is reasonable?

Seriously, I was eating in the the castle a week ago today and I want to go back right now!!! I have a huge trip planned to Europe this summer and have enve included Disneyland Paris into the intenarary and I swear it's not helping with my WDW withdraw one bit. I keep thinking we should cancel Europe and do WDW instead. We won't but I am tempted! I'm hoping and praying we will get back at Christmas. I don't know if I could stand waiting much more than that!!!

It's funny b/c usually I get a lil Disneyed out after I get back (I know the blashphemy of it

However after a couple months I am longing to go back again. Thank goodness I will be going back September 27th-October 4th with free dining

To save money and make it affordable to go once a year for a family vacation, we choose to drive down to WDW. If we leave the day before our check-in date and allow for an extra day at the end it really works out well for us.

I am taking my wife to WDW in May 2007 for our anniversary (just the two of us), and for this one we may fly. Have not fully decided yet.

Start planning your next trip, this always helps me with my withdrawal, considering I have a Southern drawl. :)
