Assuming that most of us are DVC members, how long can you go before you begin to suffer Disney withdrawal? Am I crazy because it's been a year and a half? I sure could use a "fix". How about you?

I am now at every other month. I want to get enough points so I am going 2 to 5 nights per month.

Excellent thread, we were discussing the same subject just then other night. We usually go every two to three months, however with a new job and my son so busy with his senior year in IB we had not been since Food & Wine. Remedies, going in early June. I've got him booked with 5 of friends without parents (graduation gift) in August and then I booked Oct and Nov Food & Wine visits. I feel so much better having a few trips on the horizon!:yay:

Just came back last month already itching to go again. We like longer stays of 9-10 nights so ultimately 2x per year is perfect. This way we are always in the disney planning windows. Lol

Don't always make it twice a year but that is the dream

We went in January and I have had withdrawal symptoms, main symptoms being an increase in disboarding and intense longing, since early April. We have three trips left this year though, July adults only, August family resort hopping trip, and post Christmas through New Years trip. Hopefully I will be all disneyed out for a while because we have no points until 2017! I would be going out of my mind if I ha to wait over a year between trips.

Typically, about 2 hours into our trip we start talking about our next trip. Right now, planning returning August 2018 for my Daughter's first trip. New layer to the planning for me (which is exciting). Lots of strategy to learn!

Disney is a way of life. I may withdrawal from a park visit but I still have my collectibles, disney Jr, music, movies, videos and, YouTube.

I live about 65 miles away and go about every other month. Only because I can't wait that long to go back. Even if it's just for dinner or to catch a quick show, we end up at the happiest place on Earth. yeah, I got it bad. LOL

I used to but not any more after going more than 30 times over 10 years I just don't crave it anymore .

We left WDW Saturday morning and are already going through withdrawal. It helps that we are going back in 4 months for 9 nights and again after Thanksgiving. Not certain when we will be back after that, most likely early May again.

I get hinkey if I don't have at least 3 trips booked at all times.

Me too! When I return home from a trip I'm satiated for a few days, but a piece of Disney news pops up and the withdrawal begins. I agree having lots of Disney media and my "stuff" around the house helps a lot. :earsboy:

Oh my, I am in such withdrawal right now. I haven't been since Halloween and F & W! But I want to stay for two weeks next time so I'm trying to be patient. Gah!

I haven't been to WDW since 2013 and I'm suffering over here. We are scheduling our trip for early June of 2016 and I don't know how I'm going to wait a year. We do head over to DLR but my WDW are much more relaxing....missing AKL so much.

We came back from BWV on April 18, and we'll be back, first time to the Poly DVC on August 19 and this is our longest stretch away from WDW in many years!

I'm recovering from bilateral knee replacement done on April 24, otherwise I would squeeze something in before August.:)

I was at BLT (loved) and AKV (home resort) for our first trip at owners 4/25-5/2 and on the way home I was already talking about our booked trip 10/31-11/6 at AKV and Poly. Tomorrow I book 4/16/16! I'm driving my family crazy, but they love it too! :love1:

We went twice last year (january and December 2014). Hubby can't go for 2 years (December 2016) but promised me 2 wks there. I'm totally jonesing and already planning the trip!!
