my parents just told me and my younger brother (12) that we're going to disney in late may. i really want to bring my best friend with us (we're both 15.) how can i convince them to let her come with me?!

Thats though because I've tried to do that in the past with my parents too but they would always bring up the same points and they were good ones too. What if you two get in a fight I can't send her home. If you get sick of seeing her and just want to get away from her with us I can't make her sit in the hotel room. Needless to say I've never gone with my friends and I don't think their ever going to let me bring my friends. If you really want him/her to come tell them it would make a more magical trip if you could bring her with you but keep in mind they may not be able to afford bringing another body with them and questions I mentioned above can happen very quickly. My friends travel with each other and I hear stories on there are fights and they never get to see anything and how they could only do what the parents said because they paid for them to come. It gets confusing and annoying. Hope I helped, Good Luck and Have FUN!!!!

About a year ago my friend was able to come down with my family and it was an amazing trip. Though my friend paid for themself.
I suggest you consider these things:

1. It's unfair to your parents to expect them to pay for someone else. ( It's expensive)
2. Your friend would need to be included into the planning to allow them to have some say.
3. The more your keep yourself occupied and doing things on the trip the less of a chance there will be of you getting in a fight.
4. Will your parents let you go off on your own in the parks?
5. It's not exactly fair to your brother that they let you bring a friend and not him.

In addition, since I got to Disney so often it was nice to get to see my friend experience the magic. I used my experience to show her around the park but it was also fine for me to just go along and do whatever she wanted. In addition, it's important to sit down before the trip and just discuss how things will work and what they schedule will be like so your friend knows exactly what you will be doing so they can't complain that they weren't forewarned.

I've gone with a friends one time, and it was okay at first, but in the end we got tired of each other and we had been best friends for a long time.
But if you think you won't fight, try saying you'd like someone your age to be around and ride with? Good luck!

If your parents are like mine, it's gonna be hard.
If you have AP's its a lot easier to persuade them!
Just ask them often, make them think about it, say you'll be on your best behaivor and that you want to experience Disney with your best friend.

My friend Katie was going to WDW with her family and invited me and my other friend Lisa. It was the best time of my life. We used to joke around about the Disney Villians every time we saw them. Her parents never stayed with us in the parks cause they don't like the parks, they'd stay at the hotel, and they'd pick us up after we were done.

I went with my best friend and her family about 5 months ago. She and her family actually invited me because my parents are anti Disney :/ I paid for all of my expenses. It was the best trip ever and I had so much fun that I'll always remember. However, my friends mother was upset that I was taking time away from the family spending time together, mostly just when we wanted to see the characters as her little brothers had no interest. That was the only problem really. Her family was great about including me with the plans and making me feel like a member of the family. Tell your parents that you really want to experience Disney with your friend, because it's totally different and so much fun! Good luck!

i went to disney with my two best friends and both our moms and dads it was the best trip ever it was the most fun ive ever had at WDW and i go there alot its so much different with friends but good different and i agree tell them you really want to go there and be with friends there and see them enjoy it

I went with my best friend and her family. They were visiting from overseas and her family paid for everything, except I bought my own souveniers.
I appreciated everything and offered to pay but they wouldn't hear of it
