We're taking my son to Disney for his first birthday. We've been to Disney numerous times and I've worked there, but this is the first time we'll be traveling with him. Does anyone have any tips or must do-s for younger kids? Things he might enjoy more than others?

Our daughter went for the first time at 15 months. She loved brushing the goats at Rafiki's planet, running around on the lights at Epcot in the Imagination Building, and she could have ridden the Magic Carpets of Alladin 100 times.

But her absolute favorite moment was watching the opening ceremony at MK. I will never forget the excitement on her face. I've been hooked on Disney ever since.

We took DD at 9 months. It was a great trip. She LOVED IASW, the Disney Jr. Show, and the Country Bears. Those were probably her fav attractions. She liked the Mexico Boat ride in Epcot. She liked the parades and shows. She wasn't walking yet so she couldn't really do the playgrounds and stuff but a couple of months older she would have loved those too.

She was very afraid of fireworks and characters (although she loved to look at characters that were not too close to her). Philharmagic scared her. It was too loud. We didn't try any other movies.

We took our youngest at 10 mo, she loved the characters (chip n dale and mickey were her favorites), all the boat rides pretty much, tsm, buzz, and winnie the pooh, and the nemo thing at epcot. Hated Peter pan (the dark). Not a haunted mansion fan, either.

We had the most trouble with the longer shows like nemo and beauty and the beast. She got bored and wanted to get down and crawl, and wiggled and cried and fought us the whole time. We ended up bailing out of both shows early.

I'd recommend some downtime out of the stroller each day. Either at your resort or at a play area or the pool. Just some time where he can explore and stretch his legs.

An infant is a young baby. You are going with a toddler. There's a big difference between the 2 (although you'd be bringing infants and toddlers on the same rides, but you will have more highs and lows with a toddler vs. an infant).
