We will be going to disney at the end of August and my son will be 18 months old. I am looking for a list of "must haves" and important things to take with us. Thank you for your help. :yay:

Hi, I would take your own stroller, something for a fever, juice boxes to carry with you, SUNSCREEN and even a hat, light weight clothing, sandles they are cooler then sneakers. I went at the end of August and it was HOT. My son was 2 when we went. We were out on a boat and I didn't realize how hot he was until we got off and he had sweat pouring down his face, I am still upset that I didn't realize he was so hot. There was a breeze on the boat so I just didn't think. So point being even if there is a breeze don't assume he is OK. Each park has a Baby Station look for it and use it to change diapers, feed or just to take a break, it will be cool in there and I think there is even a TV.
Have a Great Time.

Ds was 23 months when we went.

I would make sure to take:

Your own reclining stroller.

Take and Toss cups

Apple juice boxes (milk spoils quickly in the heat - I usually did 1/2juice/1/water in the sippy)

Plenty of snacks (gerber fruit snacks, cereal bars, bananas, etc) for throughout the day

Glow bracelets from the dollar store! DS had so much fun waiting for the night parade with them

a hat, preferably one with a wide brim that covers the ears too

a raincover for the stroller. Invaluable. So much better than riding in a wet stroller all day

if you have access to a freezer, frozen water bottles and frozen washcloths in a ziplock (to drink later and keep cool with).

little toys (we did matchbox type cars and little disney figurines)

I would add to the above:

Bibsters
Purell (or the foamy stuff from BBW, DD LOVES that)

The disposable placements that stick to the table. Those are great to ensure your little once has a sanitary place to eat and it's easier clean up for you (or the server, if you're at TS).

Our son will be 18M for our trip in Sept. I'm thinking of buying one of those battery fans that clips on to the stroller.

Also bringing some stickers, scotch tape, and those crayola markers that only mark on the crayola book (for the airplane ride).

I got a larger fannie pack that will fit 2 or 3 diapers and some wipes in it. But I think I may still have to carry a beach bag with his change of clothes in, sunscreen, etc.

I was thinking maybe I'd look for some of those swim floaties for playing at the pool. I got some sand toys for the beach. I sure hope I can get everything in our luggage!

I wonder if we'll need bug repellent for the evenings? Does Florida have moskitoes?
