So we're back from the magic How sad to be back already- was such an amazing trip though, I just totally loved it and have fallen for DLP for sure
I have LOTS of photos (around 700!!! EK!) I won't be adding them all to my trip reports though- don't worry
I hope you enjoy it, and on day 3 I will also share the highs and lows of the trip and my overall thoughts of it- so stay tuned

Sunday 8th January- day 0
We both felt a little worse for wear this morning, we'd gone out for my Birthday celebrations last night and so Champagne & cocktails had been flowing. My amazing Sister & Dad made us all egg/cheese/sausage muffins- NOM! This helped a huge amount, a freshen up, and finish the packing and we were set to go
[Photo before we went out on Saturday]

Sam popped home to grab a few things, and I made sure I had EVERYTHING. I ALWAYS forget something on trips, even if it was to visit Sam at Uni, a weekend away or a 2 week holiday. I tried my best to remember all I needed *I forgot my retainer!!! So annoyed as my teeth still move after 2years! I didn't wear it the night before either becasue of my drunk state- so annoyed with myself! Any who, it was fine, although A LOT of the tight side when I shoved it on on Wednesday night*
Becky [my sister] then took us over to the Mega Bus stop, such a pain as it's the total other side of town, so was fab that she took us.
The bus journey was fine, seemed to take longer than usual [I go to LDN a fair amount for blog events] After what seemed like forever we got into Victoria and made our way via underground to Kings Cross- this was perfect as it was on the Victoria line too, very easy and helpful! I knew where the hotel was, so we made our way there, quickly freshened up drop the suitcase off and made our way back to the tube station (the walk takes around 15mins)

We were off to Hard Rock Cafe and the Green Park stop was on the Victoria line too- perfect!

We got there and was told we'd have to wait 1 1/2 hours- really on a Sunday?!! We told the guy we had an all access card & it then changed to 45mins (you get first seating available) While we waited we had drinks at the bar- my only hatred for HRC is the bar space, in almost all of the ones I've been to there is hardly any space to sit and wait. Sam ordered a beer & I had a Sex On The Beach- yum!

Around half hour later and are buzzer buzzed- woo!
We both ordered our 'favs' Twisted mac chicken & cheese for me, and a bbq meat 'thing' for Sam. Another coke for Sam, another cocktail for me & desserts were being ordered. The bill came to £71.60 (x2 mains x2 desserts x2 SOTB x1 coke x1 beer)

Easy ride & walk back to the hotel and we were soon in bed watching the TV before nodding off ready for our 4.45AM (!!!!) start
