Hi guys

I've been musing for a while now on the options in regards to the Disney Dining Plan and its added value of purchasing in the UK now that the exchange rate has become less favourable. We already have the free DDP for a stay in September, but I was considering looking into the Wine add-on, aka "The Disney Wine and Dine Plan". On this note I decided to ring Disney UK to enquire and was told that it had been stopped by a CM. Is this true, or is it just that it's not available to purchase through the Walt Disney Travel Co. UK? It seems strange to advertise this and then it not be available. Has anyone tried the wine add-on, or had similar experience?

We booked with WDW Travel Co and they offered it to us but TBH it just wasn't worth it, I think it all depends on whether the CM remembers about it when you book, we didn't bother as we don't drink that much alcohol anyway. If you are seriously into drinking wine or specialist beers then yes it "could" be worth adding.
We are just going to pick up a couple of bottles of wine at the duty free shop at Manchester and anything else we can get at the Hess garage which also does groceries at DTD. It will be cheaper than using the Wine and Dine option for us.. Disney prices for alcoholic beverages simply astounds me :scared1::scared1:
