Fantasia Sam - I'll have the special recorded on my TIVO. I would be more then happy to send you a copy of it if you haven't already made arrangements to get a copy ;). PM me if you would like. There may be a bit of a delay in getting it to you though, since we leave for our wedding on the 22nd ;)

Hi Everyone.

My name is Ann and my husband's name is Michael and we were married on November 14, 2003. Our ceremony was at the Wedding Pavilion, our cocktail hour was at Sea Breeze Point and our dinner/dance was held in the Promenade Ballroom at the Boardwalk. We had a welcome party at the Italy Isola the night before the wedding.

We were asked to be part of the Food Network special a few weeks before the wedding - and since we figured it would ensure that everything was perfect - we agreed. They did not film our ceremony - our videographer - STVS - gave them his raw footage - but the filmed the dessert party, cocktail hour and reception. We also met with them for an interview a few days before.

Well our wedding was truly amazing - and Disney was kind enough to throw in a few extras to make it even more special for TV. Mike and I can't wait to see it - our family is so excited too!

If you have any quesrions, don't hesitate to ask me. My email is

Our vendors were:

Photography: Jon Thomas Photography
Videography: STVS
Floral: Raining Roses
Linens: Exclusive Linens
Ficus Trees: Greenery Productions

Our wedding video summary can be found at:

Monahan-Connors Wedding Summary

I usually hang out on the Disneymooners site - but I will try and come here more often.

Deciding to get married in Disney was the best decision we made - you will be so happy with your choice!

That is so fantastic Ann! Wow how cool.

I too will be on my Disneymoon when the special airs but I'm looking forward to watching it once we get back!

Hey jennandsg we'll be there about the same time! Have a great trip!

That is so cool Ann! I'll have to make a note to watch it. I always have things I wanna watch on TV but forget about them. I'll write this one down though LOL.

Hi Everyone,

I just had to add my two cents, because I too am EXTREMELY excited :Pinkbounc to see the show. That's because my fiance and I get engaged on it! We've not yet seen the final cut of the show, but basically the show begins with a couple getting engaged at the chefs table at Victoria & Albert's. And, that couple will be us! (David and Amie)

Everything was taped last November, so it's been quite a while in the making. I just hope that I don't come off looking like an idiot. I was actually VERY surprised when it happened, but because nearly 20 people were watching when he surprised me with the ring (including the camera crew and restaurant staff ), I was speechless and didn't know how to react. The whole ordeal nearly killed my poor fiance too because he was so nervous he could hardly stand it. Can't wait to see how it all turns out!

Now, we're in planning stages for our Disney Wedding on April 16, 2005. The late afternoon ceremony will be at the BoardWalk Resort at the Quiet Pool Lawn (a beautiful hidden location featuring a fountain that not many know about). The evening reception will be at Sea Breeze Point, followed by an elaborate fireworks dessert party afterwards at the Italy Isola. We are so excited!

OMG! Amie - I have been working with your fiance David on a promotional video for my company - about European Food Products - the reason he came to NYC a few weeks ago. I just hung up the phone with him!!! And I met him in FL when he was taping us for the Fairy Tale Weddings Special!!!

I am so excited for you - David told me all about your plans and I think they are amazing. I love the integrating your backgrounds into your signature drinks! What a great idea!

If you are interested - and for all you ladies - I spend a lot of time at the Disneymooners board - I just discovered this one. I am sure we all would love to hear about your plans!!! They are very unique.

Ann,

Holey Cow! Talk about two worlds colliding in a strange and exciting way!! I had no idea that David was working with you on the video. (He never told me exactly how he got the gig.) And, on the flip side, I've heard your name before and tales of your grand wedding through several of my friends at FTW, but never put two and two together. 'Tis a very small world indeed!

Yes, I'd be happy to share with everyone the details of our upcoming wedding. But, since we haven't had our planning session with our EM yet, I'd like to wait until things are more finalized before sharing. After all, some things will most likely change and evolve as we get into the planning stages more deeply. So, please stay tuned! And, I'm sure I will have a few questions for you if that's OK.

I'm so happy that we finallly "met!"

Amie :wave2:

Hi Ann :wave2: so good to see you and thanks for sharing your piccies with us.

I'm so glad that you and Amie got to "meet" how cool is that - I just love the internet !!

Helen - that would be sooo cool of you but the thing is our video player is a different format from the States format so I don't think you'll be able to help but thank you sweetie for thinking of me puckerup:

Just bumping this up to remind everyone of the airdates! I just set my tivo...now I'm hoping my digital cable doesn't break down.

I'm trying to convince my honey that we should consider a disney wedding in our future. :)

oh this is great. i can't wait to see this special. now i have something to look forward to watch after "six feet under". thanks for the info.

Congrats and thanks for sharing your awesome pics! We were actually at WDW on your wedding day!

DH and I had an October (1998) wedding and, since Halloween is our favorite holiday, we had pumpkin themed favors in addition to traditional favors. My wedding was as "purple" as I could make it, and I love how you incorporated your orange into everything.

It really looked as if you were having a great time!

Thanks for sharing some of the Disney magic that most of us do not get to experience.

Barbe

Your wedding pictures are just beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us. My whole family loved watching the wedding special. I thought how you incorporated so much detail into your wedding was great. You and your husband make a beautiful couple.

Lori

Thank you for sharing your dream wedding, it was beautiful. I loved the theme and the use of orange throughout. It made it very seasonal. :)

Ladies,

I almost died today when I caught this special on Food TV. I teared up a few times (I'm a sap, I admit it!) ... you had the most magical days that most of us only dream about. I know a lot of us wish we could have had our weddings in Disney too. ( we honeymooned there instead of the whole she-bang).....

Just wanted to tell you guys how awesome your weddings were (like you didn't know already), and I LOVED your cakes!

So ...congrats and best wishes!
