Disney Wedding / Special Gifts for Disney Brides & Grooms

Hello everyone,

I know its a little taboo to ask, but I am wondering about the Disney extras/special gifts/ bonuses (I am not sure what everyone calls them) that come with a Disney wedding.

Lately I have seen a few other Disney fairytale wedding gifts around and I am wondering where & when these come, if they are available to purchase, or if they are for selected wedding categories only. For example perhaps Couture Wedding receives different or additional items that Wishes wedding brides do?

The new ones I have seen around are:
Disney Honeymoon watches (in addition to the fairytale wedding ones)
Wedding Lanyard
Fairytale Wedding Pin
Wedding Pavilion Pin
Disney Honeymoon Pin
Tiffany glass Fairytale Wedding Plate

I am planning an Escape wedding however as I am in Australia & also I had a fairly clear idea what we wanted, we never received the “fairytale wedding kit”. We have had several phone conversations with our planner who hasn't mentioned anything and I have emailed her a few times asking but I am still waiting to hear back, and I was just curious if any past brides knew the drill

I appreciate that perhaps it’s a “secret” and past brides aren’t ant meant to talk about it but maybe someone could send me a message?

Any help would be great

i can't answer your questions, sorry! Just got excited when I saw a fellow Aussie on here. I am so excited for you - how awesome you are having an Escape wedding! I would love to have got married at WDW but it's so far! We ended up just buying lots of stuff last time we were in US and then we got married at home last year with a Cinderella theme wedding. It was lovely

Good luck with everything, it would be great to hear about the type of 'gifts' which are available

Hey there!

My wife and I had a Intimate Wedding at the Wedding Pavillion. The wedding gifts to us was matching watches (as mentioned above), we did actually ask our wedding planner about it on the day as we had been told about it by Virgin (we booked it through Virgin from the UK) and got the distinct impression it was supposed to be secret and a surprise!

They aren't available to purchase ANYWHERE and you get given them by your Disney wedding planner after the ceremony at the cake cutting/champagne toast event (depending I guess on the running order of your day).

I will happily answer any questions I can about the Disney wedding process, it was a fantastic day that went off without a hitch thanks to the incredibly organised weddings dept!

I must admit I kind of assumed that we would get the fairytale wedding watches from Brie when we got there or on the day.

But just wasn’t sure about all the newer gifts floating around? And wondered if they were for the wishes or couture girls? has anyone been given or purchased them?
