I want details people!!

I need to actually make the decision on weather or not im going to have my wedding there or not... sooooo please, tell me who you went through, what your package was....AND POST YOUR PICTURES!!! I looooove looking at all of the gorgeous wedding photos!!!

any info would help...were rly stuck in a pickle!!! why must everything cost money!! id rather pay in flowers!!!

My PJ link is in my signature. I'm doing a Swan/Dolphin wedding to cut costs. It is not through DFTW but technically still on Disney property. Their package starts at $1,595 for however many guests you want. You can customize and add in whatever vendors you want. An officiant is $150, musician is $250 (for the hour), and the list goes on. I like it because I could book as many vendors through my wedding planner as I wanted but I could also book my own vendors and save that way. The only real differences are that you cannot get married at any of the DFTW locations (like the wedding pavillion), you cannot have a magic kingdom shoot (but can shoot at any of the other 3 parks), and you cannot have cinderella's coach. The rest is pretty much the same but the cost for s/d is a lot less when compared to Escape and Wishes.

We were married in Disney in November 2008. It was the best thing we could have done. We had 50 people attend our wedding - 45 of them from the NY, NJ area. We had a 9:00am ceremony in Epoct in Italy, then our prereception was from 10:00 to 11:00 at Atlantic Dance Hall on The Boardwalk, then our reception was from 11:00 to 3:00, a 4 hour break where our guests went back to their resort and used the pool and rested - we did another 2 hours of pictures. We ended our day with an IllumiNations Dessert Party back in Epcot in the UK. As it was a few years ago alot has changed (from prices to what you can and cannot do) so I will not go into that too much. I will just show you some pictures so you can get an idea of our day.

This is from May 2008 when we were down for our planning session. We did an Engagement Shoot with our photographer (Misty). She is not a Disney photographer so you can no longer use her for in park weddings. This photo was taken at the Poly.
