Disney Wedding Bands

Hi guys 'n' girls

Both my Df & i are really keen on getting our wedding bands custom made with a Disney twist to them. I love the idea of the bands being so unique & being something that we would of kind of designed together . I ve seen a silver band style ring in Disneyland Resort Paris that had Mickey heads going all the way a round it (think they had small stones in them but can't completly remember). Probably doesn't sound too nice but it looked lovely, band was tad bit too thick for my finger though as i'd still like to wear my e ring with it. It was only a cheap ring though so thought maybe copying the design maybe an option.

Has anyone out there had a Disney themed ring made & if so pleeeease can you send me some pics as im running low on ideas .

My FI had my engagement ring designed for me. My wedding band isn't Mickey themed, but FI is having a sapphire Mickey head set flush in a white gold band. We just settled on the bands last night so I don't have a pic yet, but here is my e-ring.

I love the fact that Mickeys ears are a different colour to his head. Looks amazing, can't say i ve seen more of an original ring than yours. Do you know if it was expensive to make??

Your dfs ring sounds amazing as well, did he come up with both the designs or did a jeweller help make suggestions?

I don't know what the cost of my ring was. FI and I discussed the possibility of a Mickey engagement ring and he used a local jeweler to design it. The jeweler just made suggestions as to the look, such as flush or bezel set.

We have used a company called goldfinger who helped us design ours from scratch and in the comfort of our own home

georgiajaimie what design have you both chosen to go for? Is it a standard wedding band or something that incorporates Disney??

If poss can you send me the web add of the company youv'e found. Was you recommended to use them or did you just come a cross them?

I love the engraving you mentioned, we were thinking of getting both rings engraved but have n't managed to come up with anything we both like. Loved your suggestion though

No Disney fairly traditional rings with white/yellow/white gold bands with the other being gold/white/gold. Mine has 3 diamonds set and marcs has a unique 'bevelled' kind of edge. We have the wedding date in roman numerals engraved inside.

Thanks for the info , i ve already had a peek at the site & sent them a message asking if they can make a ring with a disney theme to it (I waste no time). Did you decide on the final design or do you just provide them with a brief & they get back to you with various options?

Ours were fairly simple designs and we've got exactly what we asked for even down to the widths of each colour gold. Our agent Jo, is very helpful and is coming back again this week as Marc is having trouble getting his on and off. All included in the initial price. I'll post some piccies later when I find the camera
