I don't know where to post this so I'll try here. I'm thinking of starting a Disney related website and I don't really know anything about how to do it. I realize I need a webhost to service the domain name I select, but I have no idea who I should use. Does anyone on here have a website? Any web hosting info or recommendations would be great!! Thanks so much for any help guys.

Before you even start, let me ask you this - how will your site be any different from the hundreds of Disney sites already out there?

Well, I'm not planning on giving my ideas away, the content will be the easy part learning how to get it going is the hard part. Anyways, if anyone else has any recommendations on web hosts I'd sure appreciate it.

I would recommend checking out www.1and1.com. I registered and host through them for my websites and they provide a good service.

just wanted to check one more time with the morning crowd. if anyone else has someone they use please let me know. I'd love to be able to compare a couple before I make a final decision.

godaddy, dreamhost, hardhathosting, hostway, blogomania, hostingmatters, etc, etc.

I've used them all - it all depends on what you are trying to do; what software you are going to use to build your site.

FYI - keeping up with all of the Disney content is hard, don't kid yourself - and their is a LOT of competition out there.

I've started, run, closed, re-opened, and rebuilt quite a few Disney related sites - some successful, some not so much.

Unless you have something unique to offer, people searching for Disney info are going to go to the big sites.
