Disney watches

I read somewhere that you can have a watch created for you while you are at WDW. Can anyone give me more information about this? Prices etc? Thanks

There's a shop on Main St. in the MK (on the right side as you face the castle). There is also a shop at the Studios (seems like it's on Sunset) headed toward RnRC and TOT. They have a book you can look at to choose the artwork you want. It's a pretty big selection--well over 100 designs. I haven't bought one, but it seems like they around $200+.

Last Dec. my beautiful wife bought me a customized Disney watch with Fireman Mickey . They have a book with many of Disney's most popular characters in different poses . Mine cost $399 and I got to pick out colors for Fireman Mickeys fire gear . The prices do vary depending which one you select . As Micca stated they start around $200 and with the watch you get the artists original art used to make the watch face . You can get it framed or unframed . Be aware that it usually takes a few days for the watch to be completed so order it at the beginning of your trip or they can ship it to you after you go home .

I love these boards!... So much info you just don't find anywhere else!!!

I'm assuming they have child sizes as well?... I have very tiny wrists and like a small watch face... I'd be willing to pay a lot to get just the perfect watch for me!... I'm also assuming with those prices that these are gold watches?... or gold plated at a minimum?...

Dunno about the child's watches. The art work is pretty intricate, I don't know that you'd want it in a child's size(too small). The artist might cramp up trying to do a kid's size. There are numerous watches in various sizes and shapes about every 40 feet in WDW. You might find something that small that suits you, and it wouldn't be so expensive. Have fun
