Disney Wanderer's : December Pre -trip Report ( very detailed )

This is my Pre - Trip Report for my Up coming trip to see the Mouse and all His firends. My trip is Planned for Dec 6 - 16 ( Sat, - Tue) .
I shold tell you i Live in Ft Lauderdale . Its Only 4 hours away . seems so close, But so far. un fortunatly i DONT own a car . but thats never Stopped me before . ive been going to Disney World Since as far as i can remember. ive been going Solo for the passed few years , but sometimes its better that way, Any ways heres my " tentative " Plans

***Saturday, Dec 6 : Today is my Travel day. ill probally wake up around 8 am : ill eat breakfast at home , then ill Make sure i have packed everything i need . i almost always forget Something . go to greyhound bus station
11:30 AM i Will get on the Greyhound Bus
430 PM Arrive at Kissimmee Greyhound
Now, i have to catch the City Bus to Disney world , its either that or a cab ,BUT a cab will cost me 50$ wich is a bit much vs the City bus wich will Cost me 3.50$ total . it takes a little longer to get to disney this way but its WELL worth it if your trying to be cost efficient
6 or 7 PM i will Arrive at Pop Century Hotel ( YAY!! ) i will take a few minutes to explore the hotel . Since i will be arriving so late i Dont want to waste a day on my ticket , so ill just go check out Down-town Disney for a couple hours . i will eat dinner there . ill probally end up at Mc donalds LOL . hey its comfort food
10 pm Back to the Hotel . so i can get a good nights sleep

***Sunday, Dec 7 [ MK - EC ] {Illuminations} I will wake up at 730 am I will eat breakfast at the Hotel Then get on the bus to MK ( this will be my plan in the Morning Everyday except illl go to a different park )
9 am MK Opens MK HOURS 9AM-7PM ( confirmed party day , but not mine) Epcot Hours 9-7/11-9:30
I usualy Start at Space Mountain My( # 3 favorite ),and Possibly Buzz light year
Next : go to my (# 1 favorite!!) ride Splash Mountain , i know its a long walk but if you dont do it early youll regret it . I will ride it first and then grab a Fastpass for later ( unless its REALLY as slow as ive beenled tobelieve then ill skip the Fast pass )
Next : Logically, is Big thunder Mountain My ( # 2 favorite ride)
Next : I will Head to Pirates Of the Carribean
Next : Ill go to the Haunted Mansion , my
Next : By this time my Fast Pass will be active ( if needed )so ill go back to Splash
Mountain
Next : its getting Close to Lunch time so ill Head for Lunch , Most likely at Cosmic Rays
Next: After Lunch Ill Do TTA , its a good Calm ride , while im in Tomorrow Land ,ill grab a Fast pass For Space Mountain, ill come back later
Next ill head for FantasyLand Ill Hit Mickeys Philharmagic First, mabey even twice ,i love this attraction
Next : Its A Small World
Next : Peter Pan , If the line isnt TOO long
Next : Ill probally hit the haunted Mansion again , and then Its pretty much Anything goes un till the park closes
In between rides ill Probally try to catch some characters , if i dont catch them today ill see them another day so its OK if i miss something
I will eat dinner here at Cosmic Rays HINT: Ive found Cosmic Rays is NOT crowded al all this time of day, then head to Epcot
7 pm: Arrive in Epcot i will go on test track, if the line is NOT 2 hrs then Nemo , and probally Malestrom
8:30 ill Find a Good spot at Norway Near the fence to watch Illuminations ( woo - hoo!! )
9:30 Illuminations
10PM head back to the Hotel for the night

Monday, December 8 [ (AM EMH) AK - MK (PM EMH)] **AK hours 9AM -7PM. ** MK Hours 9AM - 8 PM{Spectromagic/Wishes} HINT : ive accually found AM EMH Not crowded I gues people dont want to wake up early LOL ( thank you by the way) , personally i cant wait to get in the park so i dont mind getting up

Today i will Start out in AK at 8 am
During the EMH i will hit Expedition Everest , Kilimanjaro Safari ( get Fast pass here ) and possibly Dinosaur , before the Crowds hit
Next ill try to hit Both Trails before it gets too crowded , and possibly Kali River Rapids , if its not TOO Cold , i just remembered its going to be December this time LOL
Next: Its a Bugs Life
Next: i eill eat lunch . Probally at Pizzafari . Since ivepretty much done all the rides at this point ill focus on Characters
Next: ill head to Camp Minnie Mickey and hit All the trails , then if i have time ill go find Lilo And Stitch
Next ill Watch the Pocohantas Show
after the Jingle Jungle Parade, Ill Head over to MK for the EMH
5 pm: Arrive in MK , i will eat dinner here Probally at Cosmos again
6:30 : find a good seat , preferably around the center Hub area, [HINT: Right around where
the castle photographer is is the Perfect Spot for Spectro magic AND wishes]
7 pm : Spectro magic ( yay !! )
8 pm : Wishes ( Yay!! ,YAY!! )
after wishes its EMH so ill stay for that probally till 11:00

Tuesday , December 9 [ EC- MK Party#1 Woo!! Hoo!!! ] { Wishes/ Party } (MK Hours 9am -7PM ) Epcot Hours 9AM -7pm,/11AM -9:30pmConfirmed Party Day Its MINE!! this is a Non- premium day thats a good thing
i will start out in Epcot at 9 am. Probally arriving early since i can get in early anyway i will Ride Soarin' ( better do it NOW!! ) and Grab a Fast pass Now!!
Next: Ill head to Test Track
Next: Mission Space
Next: ill do Spaceship Earth
Next: The Seas /Finding Nemo
Next: Living with the land
LUNCH @ Garden Grill around 11 or 12
Next: If i feel like it ill go to the Imagination Pavilion If not ill get it later
When the World Showcase opens Its Character hunting time :
Ill Start in Mexico- La Fiesta Tour, and then Find Mexico Donald
Next: Norway- Malestrom
Next: Gerany- Snow white and Dopey
Next: America- by this time ill be ready for lunch so ill stop here
Next the American Adventure
Next: Morrocco- Aladdin and Jasmine ( by the water )
Next: France - Aurora (inside) and Belle( out by the water )
Next: United Kingdom - Alice ( inside) and Mary Poppins ( On the sidewalk)
Next: Canada- not sure if anyone meets here anymore butt if they do ill get them
Next : at this point its going to be time for me to leave so i will go
3or 4 pm : Leave for MK
4pm : MK PARRTTYY!!! it doesnt sart until 7 but i can get in now!!
Ill find dinner now and then find a good spot for Wishes
6pm : Wishes ( yes , they have regular wishes before the Christmas party!! )
7 pm : Party Starts - this party ill focus on Characters
11or 12: goback to hotel

Wed , December 10 [ DHS all day ] {fantasmic}**DHS hours 9-7PM

Today ill be in Hollywood Studios ( or Mgm whatever you call it )
Since ill be Coming back if i miss something i can come back Later
Today Ill Focus on Rides and Characters Here

9 am : Head to Tower of Terror , gotta be first
Next : Rockin Roller Coaster
Next : Ill Probally be Tempted by all those Characters at the Hat So ill get a few of the rare ones
Next : Toy Story Mania (new)
Next : Monsters Inc Meet and Greet
Next : Backlot Tour
Next : Muppets 3D
Next : Star Tours
Not sure how long that all will take me but at this point ill Go to Lunch at Toy Story Pizza Planet
After Lunch Ill Probally try one the " shows " Ill Start at the Back at the Lights Motors , stunt show
Then : Ill try the Great Movie Ride
Next : Ill see whos in the Animation Building and Meet them
then Ill try : Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage

and Finally Ill head for Fantasmic @7PM (1st time) and find a good seat


Thursday , Dec 11 [ (am EMH ) MK - EC ] {Illuminations} MK HOURS 9AM - 7PM Epcot Hours**9-7pm /11-9:30pmIts a Party day But NOTfor me so ill go to Illuminations
Today is AM EMH for MK, So ill go there first . Its also a Party day so i know they Will cose early , Geese theres like 5 of these things during my trip, LoL
First ill head to Splash Mountain ill ride it , then Fastpass it
Next: Big Thunder Mountain
Next: Pirates Of Carribean
Next: Jungle Cruise
then ill see if Rafiki or Timone is meeting under the Bridge
Next Back to Splash Mountain use FP
Next: Haunted Mansion
Next get Fast pass for Peter Pan then Ride Its a small World
Next: Mickeys Philharmagic
Itll probally be lunch time by now so ill go to Comsic Rays
After lunch Ill go on the TTA , its a nice calm ride after lunchand
then ill go Meet Stitch and Buzz Lightyear
then ill go on Buzz Lightyear Ride OR If the line is long, ill do Stitchs great escape
Next: Monsters Inc Comedy Club
Next : Indy speed way if the line isnt too long
Next: ill go meet the Toon town Characters that should Kill an hour
Next: Ill ride the Walt Disney World Railroad to Mainstreet and after i look for the characters in town square Ill leave for the day
4 pm Arrive in Epcot
Ill go get a fast pass for soarin if i can , if i cant i probally be skipping that one , as i will NOT wait 90 minutes in line this time of year!!
Next: Living with the Land
Next: Finding Nemo Ride
Next: ride Figment and Possibly Honey i shrunk the audience,
8:30 Find a spot for Illuminations this time i think ill Sit in Canada or England
9:30 Iluminations
After Illuminations Head back to Hotel

Friday , December 12 [ Ak - EC (PM EMH) ] {illuminations}
**AK Hours 9- 5 PM , Epcot Hours 9AM - 7PM ,11AM-9:30PM
Today , i will start out in AK and end up in Epcot for Pm EMH
First,, i head to Expedition Everest
Next: Kilamanjaro Safari , if the line isnt too bad ill ride then Fast pass , Or fast pass and come back
Next: Mahajaranja trails
Next Ill get on the train To Conservation Station , i hope to meet Jiminy Cricket here Or Pocohantas
Next: Dinosaur and the rest of Dino-land
Next: Its tough to be a bug
Next: Lunch at Pizzzafari
Next: after lunch ill go to Camp Minnie Mickey and meet all the Characters again LOL
Next: Pocohantas Show
3or 4 pm ill leave for Epcot
4 pm Arrive at EC for Emh , ride Test Track , or if the lines too long ill go Kill time at Ellens Energy Adventure LOL
I know ill be staying for PM EMH so ill do Most of the big rides later
illl Probally wander around World Showcase for a while and Find Dinner somewhere
8:30 find a good spot for Immuninations , this time ill try Canada or England
9:30 Illuminations
after Illuminations ill head Straight for Soarin , if the lines long illtry to fastpass it if i can
12 go back to hotel

Saturday 12/13 [ Mini-golf , MK] {Spectromagic (2)/ Wishes}
** MK Hours 9-11PM SpectroMagic at 8PM and 10 PM Wishes 9 PM
Ive decided to do something a little different to start off the day today .. im going to try out the Winter Wonderland mini-golf Course , hey i get a free round anyways with my ticket package so why not
after i get done Playing around ill Head for the MK , Theyre quite often open till midnight on saturdays so i Know ill have a good day in there


Sunday 12/14 [ DHS, MK Party # 2!!!] {Wises/PARTY}

Today i will start off in DHS and end up in the MK for Party #2!! MK Hours 9-7pm

First i will Head for Tower of terror
Next : Rockin Roller Coaster
Next : Great Movie ride
Next : toystory mania
Then ill Get some rare auto graphs
Next :Ill ride Star tours
Next: Muppets 3d
Next: ill do the Lights motors Action Show
then illl try to do a couple more shows before i leave, and of course if i see some morecaracters ill get em
3 or 4 pm Head for MK
4 pm arrive at MK PARTY!!
ill eat Dinner at Cosmic rays before the Party
and watch regular wishes at 6 pm
this party ill focus on Rides more than Characters but ill Probally get a couple of them

Monday 12/15 [ MK ALL DAY with Pm EMH] Breakfast @ Crystal Palace {Wishes}**MK Hours 9am - 8PM EMH till 11 pm

Today is my Last day in the parks so i want to make it a good one and of course MK is my favorite Park so , why Wounldnt i end it here.
Now today is Also going to be my CrystaL Palace Day so ill be getting up Early for that ,
8-9am Crystal Palace Character Breakfast !!!!
9 am or shortly after Ill Start at Splash and make my way through Adventure land , then Fantasy land , then Tomorrow land
at this point if i miss anything it wont be a big deal Ill probally Focus on the Characters more then the rides with frequent checks of Town Square among others

6 pm : eat Dinner at Cosmic rays
after Dinner ill find a good spot for Spectromagic
theres No Spectro Scheduled , ... Oh well what are ya gonna do.
8 pm : Wishes!! my final Fireworks show
after Wishes it will be EMH so ill stay till Midnight since its my last day i dont have to get up early tomorrow

Tuesday , 12/16 [ Travel Home]

8 am wake up , i have to take the Bus to DHS then another bus to TTC where ill catch a City Bus to the Greyhound Station
11:30 get on Greyhound Bus
4:30 Home < FINALLY>


Well thats pretty much my plans at this point , im sure ill make little " tweeks" here and there , but generally this is it

How do you know the EMH already, I havent seen them announced anywhere, are you just guessing from the regular routine?? We will be there from Dec 7-16th and probably also stay at Pop, still deciding between POP and ASMo

This is what the EMH has been in previous years , i may have to make changes if i have to...... I stayed at AsMu Last year i liked it . i decided to try Pop century this year for a change . the only thing i didnt like about the All- Star is the busses make 3 stops there Vs Pop century wich has its own bus wich means less travel time between the parks and the hotel at POP . other than that it was cool!

I do the same thing about EMH. If you go by historical park hours (haha that sounds so obsessive.... ) they're nine times out of ten correct. I've done that for a couple years and have never been wrong.

I like your plans, btw.....especially that Winter Summerland miniature golf. Something different. We are going to try this one year eventually. I also want to try the parasailing at Contemporary one year as well (gotta save up! ) You will love Crystal Palace. Have you thought about doing any other character meals?

OK, well then I will reread yours and steal your info...haha.. I have been waiting for a schedule to start planning my days. We went last year at free dining and stayed as ASMu. I liked it OK, 2 years before we stayed at ASMo and I prefered it over music. So I think we are going to do POP to try something new. So thanks for the info.

I just realized this will be the Holiday season LOL <duh> . Soo i will be some Holiday shows and events , mostly parades , that you dont get to see any other time of year

in MK of course its the Christmas party ( im going 2 times !! )
in EC Illuminations has a Special Holiday ending added on
in AK it willl be the Jingle Jungle Parade instead of Jammin Jungle Parade
In DHS I think , they still have a Holiday Parade , Although im not 100 % Sure yet?
Also in DHS Ill get to See the Osbourne Family Of Lights!!... i almost forgot about that, ill have to work it in
Also its Great to see the Parks all decked out for Christmas , Just makes it even More Magical ....

Don't forget the Holidays Around The World in Epcot's World Showcase. They're really fun and interesting! Yeah the MGM parade is "converted" to theme for Christmastime.

Osbourne Spectacle Of Lights is really magical....it's a breathtaking show with the music and snow. You never get tired of just gazing at it.
