well i know i have heard people talking ab out this before..i got a card in the mail and was wondering if the "rewards" are worth having the card?..any pros/cons that you guys know of ? thanks

Well, I just got 100 rewards for using the cards twice, once each. I think that's great. I don't know of another card that does that. I like it. We have 3.

We like it. If you use it for everything you can and pay the balance off each month, the rewards add up pretty fast.

Also, there's a $50 reward dollar offer out. I don't know what you're mailer is offering , but $50 is the best I've seen.

We have 4 adults in our family and only one had a card. When the $50 offer came out the rest of us applied. $150 in disney dollars isn't bad!

The card is great accept for the fact that only receiving 1% of your purchases back takes a really long time to add up to a significant amount. It helps that there's no annual fee. Some rewards programs charge so much in fees that the rewards earned aren't worth the cost of the card.

One of the more recent perks was up to four tickets for a free showing of Princess Diaries 2. You just had to email a request for what city you wanted and they responded with the theater info.

From time to time there have been discount offers for WDW and DL packages but I personally haven't found them to be any better than whats offered by most of the tour operators or Disney themselves.

Unless you have another card that you feel earns really great rewards, I'd say go for it. Also, here's the thread I started with a link to $50 Bonus Rewards after your first purchase.

It's our main card. If you are disciplined enough to pay it off every month and plan to Disney I think it's a great way to help pay for part of the vacation. We're building a house and instead of writing a check for flooring, lights, etc. we're charging it on the card and then writing the check to Bank One to rack up those reward points!
Oh, I wanted to add that when this has come up before several posters mentioned that the rewards aren't as good as the old Magic Kingdom Club (?) card but since I never had that I don't miss it. :D

If you decide to get the card, definitely go to the link for the $50 offer. It took less than 2 weeks from the time I applied online until I got the card. The $50 was credited on my first billing cycle.
