Just signed up for the Disney Visa. The website said it will take approximately 30 days to receive in the mail. Does anyone know a way to get the number sooner? Thanks

It really won't matter if you have the number. You have to get it so you can activate it.

I also applied for my card today. So, does it usually take 30 days for a card to arrive?

P.S. many thanks to EEyorelover22 for all the helpful post today!

It's been raining here all day, can ya tell?

Once I was approved they told me 8-10 business days to recieve the card.

If you call 1-800-300-8575 it will ask you to enter your account number, but then it says if you want to apply or check on an application press a number...can't remember what #. Then it asks you to enter your ss# and it will tell you if you are approved or not.

I applied last Sunday and checked (at the above listed number) today and found out I was approved. I did speak with an actual person and she siad I should have the card in 5-7 days. Yipee!!!

I called and spoke to a rep. at Visa. There is no getting a number early. I thought maybe (like department stores do) they would give me a number right away, but no luck. I am now doing the math on when a room ap rate is worth buying an ap. I thought I would book an ap rate, then when my Visa arrived try to book a Visa rate and if I could not, I'll stick with my ap. I am only planning on being in Disney 6 nights this year, but it may be worth buying an ap rather that a 5 day pass. Such high finance for a vacation. If anyone finds a major flaw in my plan, please set me straight.

I had applied for my card this month, and it only took a week to get to me.

People are thinking that AP rates might come out tomorrow. You might want to watch and see what's the better deal. You could always change to the Visa rate if the savings isn't worth buying the AP.

when i called and found out i was approved i asked about how long until the card comes. she offered to send it fed ex and said it would be here in two days. i didn't take her up on it but the card still was here within 5-6 days.

Just found out I have been approved and the card is one the way. What are the chances of rooms still being available in one week? ;)

You all are the experts, how long does it usually take to use up all the rooms with the codes?
