Hi,
I am aware that many people do not believe in credit cards, but I am wondering about the benefits of the Disney Visa I have seen advertised.

Is there anyone who uses it and what are the benefits for a Disney vacation?

Thank you,
Debi

We have it and use it. If you are able to pay off the balance each month, it can be a good way to rack up some Disney rewards dollars to put towards your trip without getting yourself into trouble financially.

There are other perks as well - including special promo offers, discounts, etc. You also get the ability to finance a trip with zero interest for a set period of time (usually 6 mos). Depending on when you sign up, there's usually some incentive as well - anywhere from a $40 credit to a $100 gift card.

More info HERE.

I use it. I use my Disney Visa instead of my debit card for groceries, gas, dining, etc.... I have lots of money for tips and stuff for my next trip. Just be careful to pay the balance off every month!!!! Credit cards can be the DEVIL. :scared:

Be Very cautious with Credit Cards.

If you are a careful bill payer then the reward cards like the Disney Card can be a good way of raking in reward points or dollars.

But if you are tempted to carry a balance you are not really gaining as you interest and fees will cover any benefit you received from the card.

Thanks

We have done several of the tours in DW and have gotten a discount on them. Also, we will have a couple hundred dollars to put toward our room on our next trip. It's nice to have some extra $$ when we go.
