Disney Visa rewards for mail order merch?

Hi~

Wondering if anyone has used their Disney Visa reward points to order WDW merchandise from the parks (mail-order)? I want to order a couple of " A Day at the Magic Kingdom" DVDs and was wondering if I could use my reward points for that or not.

Although I've never used the Visa Rewards Card to order merchandise from WDW mail order, it's to my understanding that you can use it for such purchases. Check your rewards brochure to confirm; I believe that any Disney owned/operated location will accept the card.

I wound up emailing wdw mailorder; it would make sense that it would be ok; but thought I better get the "official" answer.

Heard back from WDW merchandise, and while you can use your Disney Visa to order merchandise from the parks, apparently you can't use the rewards card for merchandise unless you are AT the parks. Hopefully this is not too confusing.

I guess I'm a little surprised at that response but now you know -- that you'll have to use your reward points towards a vacation very soon so you can just buy the dvds AT the parks
