I have had the Disney Visa for a couple of years now and have only used my rewards for stuff at the Disney store or for movie tickets. We are thinking about taking our 4 kids on a cruise March 2011. Can I use my Disney rewards card to pay for some of the cruise? Has anyone ever done this? What is the best way to go about doing this?

Also, will a 14 year old boy find a Disney cruise too babyish? What about a 16year old girl? My other thought is a Carnival Cruise.

DD is 13 and adores the Disney cruise. WE have sailed many times with friends who have teens and the teens have always had a blast.

We use our rewards car to apply towards our onboard account (you just go to guest services once onboard and ask them to do so). You can charge your tips to the account, so even if you do not buy anything extra you can spend quite a few disney rewards that way.
