Disney Visa Rewards Card

Someone please remind me again. My SIL wonders when we check in at SSR this year whether or not she can use her Disney Visa Rewards Card to pay for the dining plan or not? It does say dining but does that mean the plan as well/

Yes, deffinately, you can use DV rewards to pay for the dining plan.
We did just that in December.

Yep -- just did that in June. Paid part of it with the Rewards card, and put the remainder on the credit card.

We've done it also! Which reminds me, I need to transfer those reward points to my card soon!

Thanks for your answers all!! She and her husband last went with us in 2006. Since that time they have used their Disney VISA card for their personal and her husband's business expenses and have accumulated just over $600 in reward dollars. So her, her husband, and daughter are getting a "free" dining plan this year in a way. Lucky dogs!!

I make it a point to use our Disney Visa as much as possible through the year- all in anticipation of earning enough credit to pay for our meals while we are at WDW. I have nearly $500 already so our fall trip meals are now paid for We don't use the dining plan since some days we only eat one big meal and lite snacks during the day. We figured it out and we would never benefit on the dining plan with our eating habits.

I do the same thing. While I know there are better cards and rewards programs out there, I know that the Disney ones will get used (and easily!) so I go for it.

We are going in 11 days!!!! and our entire week's stay on the dining plans for the 4 of us is paid for!!!!

I used my reward card for everything. It was wonderful!
