Can I use the Disney Dream Dollars Rewards Card to pay for meals on property?

What about a Disney Gift Card?

Yes , you can use the Disney Rewards Visa card. I use mine for my DS1's meals since he's not on the DxDDP. I also use it for items that are not covered by the DXDP like turkey legs, adult slushies , and delicious lattes!

It was very easy to pay for our entire meal with the DxDDP then pay separately for DS1's with the Disney Rewards card.

I was also surprised no one ever questioned the Disney Rewards card. Where ever I used it, they were very familiar with it.

Don't know much about the gift cards. Sorry.

So I can go ahead and convert some of my Reward Points to Dream Dollars & when we get there in May I can use them to pay for meals no problems?

We are skipping the DDP this trip & see how that works. DS is 10, but doesn't need adult meals. Maybe next time.

Yes, the card expires in one year.

You can call now and order the card and transfer whatever credits you have on it. Then right before your trip, you can transfer the remaining balance (which you might have a lot of if you pay for your trip using your Disney Visa card). Should your balance not hit your account by your trip, you can transfer the balance anytime over the phone even while on vacation. The most important part is to have the card already.

You can use the card anywhere on WDW property. I used it at many CS restaurants and snack carts. It might get tricky at DTD, but I've never used it there.
