Disney Visa Reward Dollars - expiration question

I have a question that I am sure is answered in fine print somewhere... but I was hoping someone here knew the answer.

I see that the reward dollars have an expiration date.
Does this mean that you have to:
1) order a rewards card and/or load a card by that date; or
2) actually spend money on your reward card by that date.

There are two expiration dates.

1. Reward Dollars expire 5 years after they are earned.
They "sit" in your BankOne account.

2. Reward cards usualy expire within 1 or 2 years depending on
when you order them.

3. Once Reward Dollars are moved to the Reward Card they
expire with the card.

So to maximize the expiration I should:
- transfer the reward dollars to a card just before the 5 year expiration which will give me another 1 or 2 years until the card expires.
