I plan on paying for our cruise on my disney visa to take advantage of the 6 months no interest. I was wondering what is the refund policy if I paid in full. My trip won't be until nov 10, 05

Also, has anyone used their Disney Visa to pay for their cruise. Any problems getting the months no interest or the onboard reward dollars?

I paid for my 10 day Christmas cruise with my Disney Visa

I charged it at the 60 day out mark, October 17

I paid for the whole trip TODAY, 6 months later, April 17 with no interest charges whats so ever

I did get my onboard credit too

no problems anywhere

Djs-When you charged it back in Oct did you have to pay it in full to get the 6 months no interest or did you just put a downpayment on it?

both the deposit and the remainder get their own 6month 0%.

I just want to make sure I get this correct. At the time of booking, I do not have to pay in full just to get the 6 months at 0%.

I can just book with a deposit-that would get 0% and then whenever the balance is due I can pay it off and that would be 0%. ( I was under the assumption that I had to pay in fulll at the time of booking)

any qualifying vacation package will get you the 0%.When you book either a vacation pkge or a cruise you are only required to place a deposit first. This is 0% for 6 months. And when the final payment is due that has its own 6months.Paying in full would defeat the whole offer.

BEWARE! Not having the terms directly in front of me, I chose to call a Visa card rep (actually twice). I was given misinformation both times and lived 3 months of misery. Ended up paying off another way just to get away from the poor customer service and cancelled the card. Got no stateroom credit or anything. All I got was a nasty note saying "know the terms next time". That really upset me because I felt I had done my homework by calling them and asking questions.

I am sure there are more success stories than not, but I just don't want anyone to go through what we did. Get a copy of the terms and don't rely on the phone reps. Many are poorly trained and don't know the terms.

Bottom line is........I am going on the cruise in July!! I hope that the take over of Chase improves the service that Bank One was so poor at.
