Disney Visa Redemption card, too late to request for our trip?

We leave in just over 2 weeks. I noticed on Disney's website to allow 2 to 3 weeks to get a redemption card sent for our rewards dollars. Good chance it won't arrive before we depart.

If I go ahead and request a redemption card now, can I then go somewhere at WDW to obtain a card there and they invalidate the one sent home? Or what other options are there?

I think the only way to get the redemption card is through the website. I'm not aware of anyway to obtain a card at WDW.

We are in the same boat. We leave this week and just realized that we don't know where our current card is. However we read that we can get a card at WDW. They should be at Guest Services at each park and Disney Springs. I'm hoping that's the case because we were banking on using our reward dollars for most of our purchases while there. Look in the details section of how to redeem your card on the visa site.

I would go ahead and order it. I can't remember mine ever taking that long. It usually came within about a week.

We always get our cards while we are at Disney so it's one less thing I have to remember to bring with us! :) We do it in Disney Springs at the customer service area and it's never been an issue. You MUST have your credit card and your drivers license in order to get the reward card. We've been told that they have places at each park to redeem the reward dollars but have only ever used the DS location personally.

The problem with ordering one and it not arriving in time would be that you'd be out whatever $$ you've already transferred to that card - to order one online there's a minimum balance you must put on the card.

If you pick one up at GS, you just have to call chase and can have whatever amount you want (and have) on the card. Like above, I've only ever done it at DS, but supposedly it can be done at any GS.

Supposedly you can transfer your points to your card online, but last trip, I was unable to do so and had to actually call. Just FYI (I'd get through the process and it'd look like everything was transferred but when I went to use the card, there were no points. When I checked the website again, they all showed as not being transferred).

We always get one from guest services @ DS. You just call to activate and transfer the rewards dollars. Easy and one less thing to worry about.

We picked ours up at Disney Springs last fall. They will give you the card, then you have to make a phone call to get your rewards transferred and you are good to go. I remember making the call from the store where they sell all the crystal things. GS is right next door. I don't remember needing my cc or drivers license?! But maybe I did.

It's very easy. We like to start our vacation at Disney Springs so it works perfect for us. :)

You do need your CC to give all the info to Chase, but otherwise it's easy!

I got mine at GS at MK took 5 minutes. Bring your credit card and photo ID. you will need to call the number on the redemption card to activate. I just did this in april

Just in case you want to see if it will arrive in time, yes, they can transfer the balance from one rewards card to another. We forgot ours at home once, and went to guest services at Disney Springs. They gave us a new card, and a phone call to Chase got the balance moved to the new card.
