Oh, don't go out of your way for that, thanks.Unfortunately if you pre-pay gratuities, they also have to be on the disney visa. I found this out the hard way. They become part of the fare. And if I recall correctly they send you an updated confirmation stating the gratuities become non refundable as per the pif schedule. It was about a year and a half ago that this happened. I could probably go find the receipt. I never prepay anymore.
I guess we've never been in that situation. We've always pre-paid, but usually closer to the cruise, not when we make the original reservation. And by then, we're pretty sure we're taking the cruise. Only cruise we've ever cancelled was right after the PIF date, when we got a great *GT rate (even with the penalty, we saved money). We hadn't added the gratuities to that one yet.
