Does anyone know if you can pay your trip deposit in cash then use the Visa to pay the balance and still be eligible for the 0%? It seems that we did this last year but I can't remember for sure. Thanks in advance!

I don't think so......

You could pay on the card, then just turn around and put the cash on the Visa account.

We paid our deposit months ago and when we pay the balance it lets you have the 0% so I think you can. When you call to pay it, just ask.

If you have the cash why not put the deposit on the card and then pay it off? That way you earn the rewards for the deposit.

I think you can do it. When I booked our Dec 2010 trip in the summer of 2010 I used my debit card to pay my deposit because, at the time, I didn't have the Disney Visa yet. I signed up for one after receiving the $200 GC offer in the mail, which was after I paid my deposit. I used my Disney Visa and received the 0% when paying my balance in Oct 2010. I just paid off the balance before my six months was up. Unless they changed something since last summer, you should be fine. I'd double-check, though, first.
