Disney Visa Question

I am trying to figure out how this works... I have just applied for a Disney Visa and should know within 30 days whether I am approved or not. That said, I have a room being held at the Poly for January 2009. I am hoping to get the Visa and be offered a cardholder discount later this year. However, my hold on the room expires on the 29th. I won't know about the Visa until later than that (I assume). If I pay the deposit on the room (on another credit card) before I get the Disney Visa, will I still be able to apply a code to the reservation later? Or will the fact that the initial deposit was on another card prevent that? If a code comes out later that I can use, can Disney refund the original deposit on the other card and charge the Disney Visa for the deposit then?

Last fall I paid my deposit on a reg. credit card, then later applied for the Dis. Visa and paid the balance on that. We got the 6-month interest free on a package no problems.
